Great Video! Im currently an undergrad studying economics and want your advice. I wanted to know if I need a masters in order to become a chief data scientist or do I just need to gain enough experience with a bachelor's and start my data scientist journey. It's a-lot more difficult for me to find internships without a CS degree which is why I'm debating chasing a masters in CS.
There’s no 1 answer to that question. After about 15-20 years in a field and a track record of results, degrees are not required in as many cases. Earlier in your career, degrees are very important but capabilities are the most important thing to build. Don’t go for it for the piece of paper. Make sure you’ll be a more capable Data Scientist in the end.
