So there was a group of young kittens at my friends house and I ask if I can have one. She’s said yes and that I could choose. There was 2 white kittens and 1 grey kitten. The white ones were so beautiful and they didn’t run away from me when I tried to hold them. But the grey one kept running away from me and I could even hold it. The kitten doing that made me want her even more. And I did. I loved her and she loved me

@@angelicak887 For dogs? Cheap beef mince, brown rice, chopped up leftover vegetables (NOT onion). Brown meat in a large saucepan, drain some of the fat (not all, they need some). Fill with water, toss in veggies (carrots, potato, pumpkin are good). Bring to boil. Add 1 cup brown rice for every 500g of meat and 2 cups of veggies to keep it balanced.
Simmer high (about 30 - 40%) until rice is cooked.

I can honestly tell you that it's the worst feeling when you hear those words. My heart goes out to this couple. During a vet visit with our last rescue pup, we were asked 'who broke her back leg?' & I felt instantly sick. It was an old wound that had healed long before she was rescued, but just the thought that someone had done that to my precious girl made me want to hunt them down and break their legs...

My condolence
This couple are so wonderful for taking Pablo, even knowing that he was going to be a challenge. I feel so bad for dogs that repeatedly get returned to shelters...all those times that Pablo thought he had found a home, only to end up back in s cage at the shelter. Thank goodness the right people finally found him, and are giving him the home and all the love he deserves. ❤️❤️
All of our cats are rescues, as was our dog that passed away earlier this summer. They had all been traumatized in some way, and some of them were a real challenge. But, never, did we ever consider getting rid of any of them. We made them each a promise when we brought them into our home. We promised them that they were safe now, that no one would ever hurt them again, and that they would be loved unconditionally. We will never break that promise.
Not sure who is luckier: them having such a cool dog, or the lady having such a loving and kind partner?

My sister's pitbull is like this. He's this huge, hulking thing, and he's absolutely terrified of men. I've spent the last few months gently getting him used to me, and now he'll come up to me and lean on and snuggle into me because he wants scritches. He's such a big, lovable baby, and the people who hurt him had better hope I never figure out who they are, because they're getting a punch right in the face if I do.

My neighbors have two pit bulls, and one time, they both got out. My dad didn't want me to go out there, but I convinced him to let me, armed with a bag of treats and nothing else. So I walked outside, called their names...
And these two dogs charged up to me...
And plopped their darling bottoms straight in front of me for those treats with their beautiful eyes. Never once did either of them growl or attack me, they were just two big puppies that wanted the treats in my hand.
Pit Bulls are some of the sweetest breeds of dogs, and if you ask me, I'm more scared of Chihuahuas attacking me than a Pit Bull.

They’re called American Staffordshire Terrier or American Pitt Terrier. They were brought over to America in the 1800’s from Staffordshire England. In addition, in the 1900’s, pit bulls aka American Pitt Terrier’s were also known as nanny dogs because they were the most loving, faithful and strong. Do not knock a breed of dog that you clearly know nothing about.

A chihuahua I adopted was severely abused. I couldn’t touch him for almost 2 months. He bonded with my female Chi immediately so I knew it would work out eventually. I’d walk by him in a room and he’d run out and bite the sides of my sneakers. (He’d been kicked a lot). The day I finally was able to rub his head, his ears was his miracle day 😊. He became my teddy bear after that! I gave him the 3 things he needed...patience, time and love. Just like he did with this beautiful Pitty. He’s right, no one would have taken him, or my Chi. I’m sure he’ll agree it’s 1000% worth the effort. 😊♥️

My last girlfriends dog was abused. She was a rescue. She would bite and snarl and bark at men. It took me three weeks to earn her love. Then she was the sweetest dog ever. Would wait in the morning until I said, “ok!” Then jump on the bed an nuzzle between my legs. Belly rubs, play time, you name it. It was much more rewarding than a tame dog and I understand where this guy is coming from. :-)

I noticed that too. You also see that behavior with kittens/cats who didn't get the right amount of time to nurse from their mom. So sad. Glad that this boy was loved so much.

What a beautiful man! The devotion & patience required to help Pablo overcome his past trauma. Takes a special person to understand how hard it is for an abused dog to trust & to quietly & patiently work through that. He truly earned that dog’s love & it’s great Pablo is so happy now! 💕
