Love your collection; watching you go through it is definitely a walk down memory lane. I would say that you're missing the treads on the. G.I. Joe Bridgelayer; they're not functional like the treads on the Mauler but they're there
Bridge layer was my favorite, my parents got me the USS Flag since my dad was stationed on the USS Nimitz. My neighbor was an F-14 pilot and flew with VF-84 Skull Squadron. So he painted my F-14 to match his bird. 84-86 were the best years for cartoon toys as a k😮id
G.I. Joe surpassed The Transformers in playability back then. Mike reminded me of my uncle and cousin who tried to collect all figures from both franchises but they have no idea how many characters there are so they sold all their toy collections probably in '89 or '90. Cousin Raymond regretted doing that years later after learning that their complete and minty collection back then could have brought them a lot of money today.
Great collection, Mike I’m also a huge fan of the ‘85 joes with Bazooka especially since he was my first Joe figure. The 3 cylinders on the side of thr mauler are for launching smoke grenades to hide or provide cover for thr vehicle during movements to or from enemy to better engage or disengage them.
@@tydiriumhanger1320 yes everything from 84-87 was a huge hit! 88 -90 was ok & good as 90 was the first yr for all knew joes & cobras! After that it started to go downhill
I love joe toys but call me crazy I am more of the 90s versions I love the bright colors and neon look and I had the 80s versions but I prefer the 90s great video friend
I ordered 20 of the Super7 reaction plus figures, I love the 1985 line but then again I love GIJoe o ring figures and they made them all the way into the 2000's I think 2006 0r 2007
Well, I picked up the McFarlane 3" G.I.Joe Page Punchers 2 Pack (Cobra Commander and Crimson Guard) on clearance at a local WM today for $10. They suck bad. They don't come with any accessories or guns. You do get 2 comic books that are surprisingly thick with no ads other than for McFarlane's other product line.
Not captain. Admiral the second highest rank number one is commander and chief, a.k.a. your United States president.
You are right it sounds so wrong now LOL thanks!
85 was a great year for GI Joe, agreed. The masks for these characters were also awesome to see and when detachable too. Thanks.
Yep we are in the 3 top years of ARAH and it is the most fun!
Man, thank you Mike for this collection of videos covering GI Joe during its 3 3/4 inch run. Such a fresh breath of nostalgia for me! 👍🏾💪🏾🇺🇸🪖
Great video and series! Looks like the U.S.S. Flagg can't resist the Love Boat! 😍
The best year for GIJOE! 😃
Very nice collection you have the early years of gi joe were great we had very nice figures and great vehicles like the cobra moray

Good point! Yep it did have some solid treads
Great group of figures Mike... A great year. My favorite is 86.😀✌️ by the way that mauler is SO noisy...
After everything you said, I takeaway "childhood box'. Awwww childhood box 😊😊😊

Look at all that amazing world building goodness! Nothing Beats 1:18 for world building 🔥
Hasbro did a lot of great things back in the 80s and kids could build quite a scene because of all these! Thanks

Yep if we kept them all they would be worth a ton but most parents sold them for super cheap at garage sales
Patriots jersey Hail cobra

Not sure that is a new one!?
@@tydiriumhanger1320Is it supposed to be like that? I'm pretty sure that wasn't the name before
