- 💡 I show you how to download, install and setup PaperStream ClickScan. For the purposes of the demonstration, I use a fi-8170. I walk you through downloading the software, connecting the scanner, and performing a test scan.

You're videos are a big help. The Ricoh/Fujitsu help and setup docs are rather spare on simple task based instructions. I'm using the provided PaperStream software, both ClickStream and Capture, and the profile setup etc is not easy. Right now I just want to figure out how to scan multiple docs to separate PDFs, both OCR and not. It was totally easy with ScanSnap, but I'm finding PaperStream very opaque.
Hi there. That was my experience as well. Whereas ScanSnap is very simple, the business series (fi and SP series) scanners are not as easy to set up or use, though they are higher-end machines with many more capabilities. I hear you. 😊👍

I don't have pdf option in my scanner fi-7260 , how can i have pdf not jpg or any other thing ?
Hi Ahmad. I only have a fi-8170. I've never used a fi-7260. I'm looking at the fi-7260 on the Ricoh website (www.pfu.ricoh.com/global/scanners/fi/fi7260/) and I am confident that it can scan to PDF. It is a very expensive scanner and it would most certainly have this feature. Were you able to find it?
how about for SP series? I have Fujitsu SP-1300N
Hi there. Yes. My understanding from the manufacturer website (www.pfu-emea.ricoh.com/en-gb/software/paperstream/ps-click-scan) is that it works with the SP-1300N! 😊👍

Hello I just got a fi-8170 and when I open paper stream it’s just greyed out and there’s no option to scan and when I press the scan button on the scanner itself nothing happens
Hi Ethan. I'm sorry to hear that. Are you connecting by USB? Network cable? Did you see my review video on the fi-8170? It may be helpful to you as well. Please let me know if I can help you solve this issue.

Hi there. I'm sorry to hear that it's not working for you. I'm afraid that I'm not sure because I've never used a SP-1120 and I've never used Paper Stream Capture Lite. Have you been able to get any support from the manufacturer?

Hi there. I'm not sure if the ScanSnap iX1600 can offer that level of specificity but I believe that the fi-8170 would have the smarts to do it. 😊
thank you fyi, i have a problem to running the scanner fi-8150U , i already install the apllication but doesn't work cause my windows 11 has been updated automatically to the last version, could you please give the solution? it's been runing before

Sure!! But they deny an answer as I am not included on their costumers list, so, not service. I have found some general apps that work with such scanner. Ill be searching. Thans for you answer.

I have problems with the instalation of Paperstream on my Windows 10, 64bts, i download the 32bts, the 64bts, and still doesnt work, it doesnt install the software, but appear the .exe in Control Panel, anyone have any idea what im doing wrong?

Hi Sebastian. Yes indeed. It works on MAC. If you visit the download website, it gives options for operating systems including Sonoma, Ventura, Monterey, Big Sur, and Catalina.
