    Always interesting to hear about others experiences with the endocrine side of things, I always find I need people/external stimuli to perform at my best. A couple of weeks ago we did some jump testing in class and it wasn't even deload week and I was jumping like 3-4 inches higher than I should have been jumping just because It was in front of everyone.

    Facts the vert fluctations in one foot are so drastic and inconsistent that pretty much the only way you can expect a good session is on caffeine

    Caffeine makes me sleepy and definitely removes the flow from my jumps. It has a negative effect for sure on me.

    if you can say or imply, has Zay been continuing to do shoulder training through present? just curious how much that may have contributed to his recent measurements and the dunks he's been making

      Yeah I’ve been doing it for a year and a half straight now, I think it’s def helped!

    Could you guys increase vertical for a standing jump instead of one with an approach? am asking this because THP is more about athleticism instead of pure power (and also wanted to know if increasing pure power is also your guys' specialty)

      I was a THP athlete for 3 months, and in my experience I was able to increase my standing jump by about 2 inches.

    Is having a longer Achilles better for bounce?

      @@jg_jumps I have a really long achilles but have mid bounce. 6 foot and can get whole hand over rim off of one foot only on good days. What excersise would be good for me

      @@emaanrasikh5391 if you have a long Achilles and high calf insertion than you're more likely to have a greater potential for natural elasticity, if you don't have that natural elasticity then you'll want to train it through plyometrics e.g. bounds or depth jumps (plyometrics will also greatly improve your neuromuscular capabilities in rapid force production), if you are "springy" and maybe your sprint time is above average, focus on basic strength exercises and progressively overload with variety e.g. bulgarian split squats and back squats
