I love both Nana & Frida very much, but I really felt for Frida here when Nana was given a bouquet of flowers right in front of Frida while singing the song Frida usually sang lead vocals for in French, which she obviously did not have the advantage of knowing the way Nana did. Nana is always gracious, but on this occasion the treatment of Frida looks clumsy and inconsiderate. A meeting of these two wonderful songstresses could have been planned to include Frida more appropriately, especially as she is known for singing the hit with ABBA. But, hey, great to see the two ladies on the same stage together, despite the awkwardness.
I agree, it does look clumsy - but I think the bouquet giver was just a bit overawed and rushed on and off. (It was a rather awkward-shaped bouquet, too.) Other people (fans?) also seemed to favour Nana more (and the cameraman - or vision editor). But I think the ABBA four are very gracious about other people singing their songs (and not just because they presumably get more royalties!); look at Mireille Mathieu's version of "Winner Takes It All" (Bravo tu as gagné), for which they - ABBA - actually did the backing vocals! I fear "I have a dream/Chanter la vie/Estoy Soñando" has become like "Hey Jude" - one that crowds (including crowds of celebrities as here) just carry on singing until they stop. In short - I don't think there was any deliberate snub of Frida intended, and I don't _think_ from watching she was offended or hurt. Look, earlier, at how Nana is holding the microphone for Frida, for example. Frida is very tall!
@@G6JPG Yes, you make very valid points. I was at the ABBA Voyage concert in London two days ago, quite something. There Frida really shone! 💫 But Nana is a real star too! 🤗 🌟 💕
