Guest stars are Nana Mouskouri, Zsa Zsa Gabor and the feminist author Germaine Greer. The show closes with a duet in which Nana Mouskouri and Dame Edna pay musical tribute to each other's distinctive eyewear to the tune of "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling."
Nana was such a great sport rolling with Dame Edna's hilarious barbs.

@@MrRuperty Nana is fluent in 6+ languages (and sings in about 20, including Taiwanese, Welsh, and Malagasy!). As for her English, remember she had her own show on BBC for many years. (In which she often gave English introductions to the songs she sang.)

Why have some people made derisive comments about Dame Edna? Barry Humphries is an intellectual. An eloquent, erudite & wonderfully quick witted satirist. I have never witnessed Dame Edna be rude or insensitive with a guest & her delivery is consistently playful & always funny. Admittedly Nana looks a little uncomfortable at times, but then she shouldn't have agreed to appear, If she didn't identify with the host & maybe 'joined-in' the fun spirit of the show a little more. Just to add, I greatly admire Nana for her humanitarian involvement with the UN, her pacifist stance & for her talent in singing/music.
+1bermark Barry Humphries came into the Swiss Deli Double Bay, Sydney one day and i served him, he was quite rude and sarcastic, when he went to pay he used his Credit Card and then said " and please dont ask me for identification" ? ... i wasn't going to. i like edna she's funny but i never forgot how rude he was to an everyday shop assistant like most in this world are !
Wisely, Nana Mouskouri did not attempt the impossible, which was to upstage the clever & funny spirit of Dame Edna!

Is it just me or did Nana Mouskouri seem a bit uncomfortable during parts of that "interview". It did have some amusing moments. Nana is a true professional. Been a long time since I've seen Dame Edna. She/he is quite something!!
I'd say "she". Dame Edna is a fictional woman. Barry Humphries, the actor, is obviously a "he".
