Getting old is a privilege denied to many. Not sure who said that, but it’s so true!
People Magazine, I can't thank you enough for this video. I just turned 50 five months ago! I needed this.
Me too,in February. And I still call people older than me grown ups. Fifty isn't what I thought it would be, thankfully.

The only good thing about getting older, is that you get wiser and learn what your real priorities are and you polish off your moral stand, which by this age consists of, or goes around what REALLY matters in your life. And the older you get, the more you respect the body you had and were so dissatisfied with, just as it begins to fail you.
What I have liked the most though, is Mendes's opinion about having kids when she decided and was ready to, and not when society expects you to have them, deciding for you that's your role, and when you have to play such role.
I just turned 61 and I'm still jogging 2 miles a day within 20 min. I'm shocked I can still run at my age.
Wow- 51…. And in that stage- where am I going? How May I contribute…..and my feet….ugh….high arches used to be cool….ill keep walking! And when it hurts…I’ll stretch and take a deep breath
I read somewhere that we really can keep running in fact we don't slow down that much even into pretty advanced years.
I'm a former runner I pretty much quit after age 25 cause I thought that is was so boring (switched to other exercise , been in and out if shape) but at 46 I want to see if I can't get back to running a couple miles comfortably.
@nikkio.9990 you should get back into running. It just helps me to keep some of the weight off and makes me feel good. I also run 5k's when I can. I want to participate in a mini Iron Man challenge as well. Tough stuff, but I'm gonna try.

Wow, it’s one of those videos when you don’t even want to be cynical about the fact that all these gorgeous women are pretty rich to afford some (at least) cosmetic treatment that makes their 50s look slightly different than most people’s and you just watching this full of joy about the inspirational message behind this

I'm turning 50 very soon and I look younger than them. No surgeries, can't afford that. Genetics plays a role too.

I’m 34 (forgive me for entering the chat) but I’ve seen too much loss : mom, aunt, Grandmom on both sides; all gone too soon. That trauma has made me obsessed with time and doing things while I’m young and counting down to when I won’t be young and being too old for this and too old for that. I’m the youngest of four girls, and my grey has finally started popping up, that shook me 😂 but, THIS was SO encouraging and lovely to watch. It helps me to feel like, it’s going to be ok. Aging means you’re alive. And I definitely want to have a long life.

I'll be 43 on the 17th and I love that I'm not giving attention or energy to the stuff that I did in my 20's and 30's. As you get older you give less shine to negativity and BS. Also stay away from people that say that because your older your not attractive. Those people are not good people and they are preying on your insecurities. Avoid them at all cost.

This is inspiring because, I'm almost 39. And it's not so much about how I look but about what I've done with my life - which is basically very little. I feel like I still haven't lived, like I haven't done anything worthwhile. So seeing this video makes me feel like I still have time.

Yes! Also, tell it to women in their 60s. I entered that great group last December. Time went so fast that I could not believe I was 60 and loved it.

Where's the panel of Mahershala Ali, Christian Bale, Ryan Phillipe, and Leonardo DiCaprio talking about turning or just turning 50 and the changes in THEIR bodies? Ask them if they thought they'd be GRANDFATHER'S at 50 and if they look at their hands and other body parts.

At 12 I thought to myself I’d be 27 at the turn of the century. I said to my mom I’d be “too old to have any fun!”😂 now I’m 52 and I let my hair go all grey during the 😷 and I’ve got the best highlights. I’m very grateful that I live in an age where hrt is available I tell you what!!!
I thought I'd be too old to have fun for Y2K, too! I was only in my mid-20s, but I went abroad and had a blast. I still have a photo of the fireworks that night in my home.

I'm in my 40's and sometimes I can't help but to think when I'm at home alone by myself what will 50 years old be like for me?. Will I feel different?.. Well after looking at this video just now with Tyra Banks and the other 3 women I loved how each one of them embraced their age telling the world it's nothing to fear about turning 50 years old it's ok, it's a blessing, So now I'm looking at things differently thanks to these beautiful ladies. So when I do reach 50 I'm going to embrace it and enjoy that new beginning in my life. They make it sound sooo exciting. I wish I could thank these women in person.

mostly to lifestyle. These women can extend their youthfulness as the money helps. Even an average Jane can look great at 50 by moderating with lifestyle habits.
