Just an idea, maybe to stabilize problems with variable physics, the developer could always start the "server" (even in single) and regardless of the number of players, simulate invisible bots to the full server. This way (if possible) the physics would always be the same, because each game would be filled with full server bots. And when a player joins it just replaces the bot's place
why would you it that way? I'd simulate single player sessions, and just merge them visually. Yes, that's not working for rocks, and may look awkward for hammers and similar, but it's a way to make it close-to-deterministic.

Hey Kosmo, an idea for the next theme: building a track in the void. You can do this by building the track above the ground and then moving it down below the ground surface at negative y levels. I found this idea on HappyDr's "Zeepkist Map Making Showcase, Blue Void" it's a cool 'mechanic' and I hope you try it out!

Idea 2 - Mini Track Mash Up Each of you make a short track in 10-15 minutes (or a time frame of your choosing) then you somehow combine the 3 different tracks to be sections of 1 big track rather than individual tracks. You could also each make 3 short tracks then randomly select 1 of the 3 to go into track 1, another for track 2 and the last for track 3. This way each channel can show case 1 of the 3 mash up tracks. People would also have to watch all 3 if they wanted to see how each of your short tracks combine with the others. Ideally you want your track to be easy for you but hard for the others so it becomes tricky when they are combined into the big track. Anyways those are my ideas I hope you guys see them and think about it. I'd love to see you try them out, who knows I recently got the game maybe I'll see you all on the tracks! Keep doing what you're doing you guys are awesome!

Then, play back the inputs for ghosts and have the client run their physics as well. You could end up with a system similar to Trackmania, where you can download a ghost of a world record time and run it against yourself in a match.
for the Dev, when it tests in the level editor, could the game load 15"bot" players so the testing is more similar to what it will be during a multiplayer game?
I feel like the track validation test runs should load in some fake players so it will simulate multiplayer physics. Or the devs could just fix the source of the problem, but who wants to do all that work? lol
