    Awesome, now I have a general idea on how to make homemade fries from scratch and how to air fry them too. My Ninja Foodi XL Pro G&G just got here to boot, but I can't open it until Christmas. This makes me excited to use the thing either way though, because of how roomy it looks and the end result looked incredible once you got the timing down pat.

    Enjoyed your video...BUT :) I don't think its necessary to square up all 4 sides of potato. The parm cheese stuck to the bowl instead of the fries. Maybe pour on garlic oil first next time then the cheese. I promise you it will stick better. Cheers.

    If you want this to go faster, next time boil the potatoes for 15 minutes, then cool them for a hour before you start.

    I normally use frozen chips, but after ordering my Ninja Foodi I’m gonna start buying fresh potatoes and making them like this. Seems like a waste to use frozen chips on a Ninja Foodi

      I think fresh is best for sure. Thanks!

    Made these tonight and this recipe is GREAT.. My first cook in the NWFG these fries and my attempt at smash burgers.. The fries were my best ever the burgers need some work.

    I love your video's and learn a lot. I am thinking about purchasing a new foodi. I have an original one and use it a lot, so I've been watching video's. They are good and informative.
    I wonder how it would be too cook them in the garlic oil. Flavor your oil toss the potatoes with the oil then cook.
    thank you.

    I'm gonna have to practice making fries in my Foodi. I watched one of your other videos to make fries and my fries did not turn out well. Not sure what I did wrong.

    Hey. I just started watching this video. Very cool by the way. I found myself with a question. I know this new grill has the Grill plate as the base, which is independently heated. When you do something like air fry with the lid closed, does it heat from the bottom and the top? I'm just wondering I guess if the bottom heating element is always on because the grill plate has to be in there. I hope that made sense.

      @CookingWithCJ  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When you’re not grilling, I’m pretty sure it’s just the top heating element.

      @@CookingWithCJ That would be a monumental conclusion! LOL! I found it on sale at BBB for $199.99 ($249.99). What I find strange though is the 6 in 1 is even more than the 7 in 1. Have no idea why. I am "torn" between the "7" and the "6" now. Need to read up on them again, for sure. As always, thank you for your awesome videos. Am positive that you are helping a lot of people out with their cooking.
