"SKATE & EXPLORE CINCINATTI" 😬😬😬 glad you came and enjoyed our home. Please come visit again. Also, just a small correction but its spelled Cincinnati.
I'm a cincinnati native still live here, I love it always have, thanks for being here and enjoying the time you spent here. There are secret spots in the city and right outside it in the surrounding neighborhoods. Come back whenever and I'll try and let go of some of those secrets 🙊 hope my buds don't get mad hahah
@@bigboy6106 I live here and can confirm. One of these intro clips of him going down Sycamore towards W Liberty was just like, "I know you don't know where you're going, but be so careful" lol
You obviously never been to Cincinnati😭😭😭 It’s just filled with people trying to get to work , crackheads , and drug dealers……. but we do have skateboarder too😭😭
I had NO IDEA that my band was in this video at 22:06. I was just watching this for the love of the city. Thanks for including that half-second clip and thank you for showing how much Cincinnati has to offer!
bro being a local skater in cincy and skating these spots my entire childhood to seeing it on youtube is crazy, ive even been kicked out of that same spot in the bank under the stadium.
cincy skater-glad yall rocked with us! few fun skate facts -revive skateboards is based out of cincy, would of been sick to see yall rip the shredquarters -the bank spot after skyline is where the boneless was invented -eden park hairpins is where i first really ate it -you unfortunately missed shapes by a few months :( it was a fun skatable art piece here glad yall stopped by
DOs is legend, like Mark Mounts inventor of the boneless hisself, RIP. 🛹 Used to be top sesh request for pros in town, even took MCA from the Beastie Boys there - more RIP 🎤 Cincy streets bring heat 🔥
What a great love letter to the Queen City. I live here and most of the hills are treacherous for an intermediate rider like myself but glad you advanced boarders could make the most of what we have to offer. Thanks for capturing and enjoying Cincy and sharing it with the world ❤
If you ever make it back down, watch Airborne first. It’s a skate movie filmed in Cincinnati/northern Kentucky and features “Devils Backbone,” which is a series of steep hills in the area. Fun fact, because my grandma refused to move her car for the production crew, it’s now in the movie as the car with sunlight glinting off of it on the steepest hill
Wow. You guys did a phenomenal job on showing off how beautiful our city and how kind the locals are. 🙌🏼 I was born and raised in WV. My grandfather was a massive Reds fan and it was only a 2.5 hour drive. I always knew I’d be moving to the “big city” when I grew up. Cincinnati is one of the low key coolest cities to live in the US. Moved in 97 when I graduated high school. It’s amazing to witness the changes over the years.
Bruhh It's HUMID. I've been here a week, staying about 25 min up the 75. From So Cal. (via upstate NY) and flying out in 2 days. It's Hot here. hella humid lol.
Great video y'all. Not really a skater myself, its nice to see the city from a new angle. Glad we could be welcoming and hospitable and hope you all come back sometime!
Old school skater from the 70's here... Started out with plastic boards and loose bearing wheels! I skated many of the spots you were at back when I was a kid. Was the 'Slide Jam' at Alms Park? It looked kinda familiar. The only thing we lacked in the day was good pool bowls. Midwest pools are not like California pools. All square corners, no rounded bottoms. We used to skate drainage ditches when the weather was dry. There was a good one near Ridge Rd. and I-71, but with new development, it is never fully dry anymore. The riverfront was not as developed as it is now, but we did skate the embankments under the overpasses and stadiums. Glad you liked Cincy!
I missed y'all! I was smiling start to finish. Landyachtz hands down is one of the best skate companies there is. You guys always show the best of both worlds when it comes to skating. Always a good time with you guys. These videos never fail to show how skateboarding unites people of all place of the world, cultures, etc. to go out and have fun. That's really what it's all about. I'm always gonna be a fan. Crazy vid!
this was such a pleasant surprise to watch while I ate, thx guys. stoked it showed up even when I realized I didnt have notis turned on, but ill be turning them on now. Immaculate vibes yall
I’m from Cincinnati and I love seeing that you guys had a great time here we hold an art mural festival every year called blink that’s where all the murals come from different art groups make murals and lighting fixtures meant to bring the city to life and they usually stick around for a while
Man, I love y'all as a channel. My coordination is so bad, I struggle to skate. Had a longboard freshman year of college and stopped after I completely demolished my kneecap. Regardless, I watch every video because the vibes are just immaculate. Doesn't matter where you are or who you're with, y'all always just seem bring smiles wherever you go. One day I hope to have enough free time and trust in my ability to pick up skating again, because I aspire to feel the same vibes I see in these videos.
Just finding your channel through this video. I just want to say thank you for showing off how cool this city is. I’ve lived here now for 8 years and this video reminded me of how awesome this place can be after living here so long.
Damn. Yall pretty much hit a lot of the spots I used to. Ault Park, Eden, riverfront, etc. Good tour. The post Skyline spot is legendary here, called the "D.O." (used to be a dentist's office there). Come back cause there are plenty more. Made the city look real cool too. Great vid.
Glad you all liked our city! I’ve been skating for 25 years living in Cincy my whole life and there is so much to skate. Everyone always has the same idea of Cincy before they come thinking it’s going to be flat with corn fields haha. I love bringing people here for the first time to see their mind get blown! Great video 🍻
Thanks for coming to our city! I makes me happy when videos have nothing but nice things to say about Cincy. It definitely has it's bad parts, but you found the good.
Holy sh its humid in Cinci.. Just checked out that vintage shop, Pixel19 .. its like a brick oven in there, super hot. A ton of stuff though and the owner was a cool dude. One more day here b4 heading back to my state. Put some pavement under my Freedive reef.
I was born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio I left when I was 24 I moved to Los Angeles California I miss home so much it was nice to see all the familiar spots I even saw my school that I used to go to in elementary on Reading Road
AND if that was the Clifton Skyline, next door is J Gumbo's, and i cant stop eating there. no affiliation other than i have a rewards membership there lol
If you ever come back you gotta check out a community built skate park in Newport called DIY, it's under the 471 highway next to a school! A few of my friends actually helped build it
Man being a graduate from the University of Cincinnati and a skater, it made me tear up seeing the old sights, I haven't been back to campus in probably a decade unfortunately.
There's the knarliest gap on Howdy Wells Ave that's longboard, because the curb is 2 inches; what's so sic, the drop is 9 feet. The pavement is all smooth and theres hills all around too although they are mellow.
You should have come across the river. Covington and Newport are just as much Cincinnati as everything else you saw. Plus there's a cool skate park under the 471 bridge.
This is my kinda sightseeing. Lol although at 52 with a myriad of lifetime injures and degeneration, my skating is limited to just cruising and more of it is on a mountain bike these days. But I love doing this- going out and exploring and finding those cool features that go unnoticed if you’re not looking for them, and just dicking around. Makes me feel 15 again! And you actually SEE the city for the first time. Just sub’d so I can watch some of your other vids. Hope you did DC. 🤙
We drive from Cleveland suburbs to Cincinnati because it's such an awesome city! Nice representation! Wish we could longboard downhill but we stick to the flats
I grew in the suburbs of Cincy, absolutely love this video. I used to think the skating here was lame when I'd see vids from California but now I can't drive anywhere around here without scoping a spot that looks fun. I haven't really skated in about 20 years and I live in a different city now but this just brings me back.

These are the spots I grew up skating back in the early 2000s as a Cincinnatian. Cincinnati really is a gem of a city that doesn't get enough credit.
