I’m like Nick , I’ve found this lockdown hard! It’s because it’s boring now ! I can’t wait for Sunday as it’s supposed to snow . I might be 60 ,but my sledge is coming out if it’s deep enough ! My view on age , it’s just a number and I just get on with it ! If it’s not in my circle of influence, there is nothing I can do so why worry ! Stay safe guys x x

Absolutely correct.
Try a scenic wallpaper on the Kitchen wall of your favorite black and white scene or of your family doing fun stuff. Or cover the wall, in a gallery setting, of all of your favorite photos in black and white, anything that makes you smile every time you look at it. This would truly make it YOUR unique Kitchen!
That courgette (zucchini) appearing from the bottom of the screen cracked me up.
When you were chatting at the end of the vlog, I was just looking at your apartment in the background and just admiring it! I think painting that wall grey looks so good now! It just looks nice and modern, and cosy :) x
Love the vlogs , been watching them for over a year now and although I miss the holiday ones that you made it is still fun to see the cooking and DIY which gives me inspiration to try out new things in the house during lockdown.

Leigh is right about how fast life seems to go by. It’s hard to believe that I am 64, even though sometimes physically I feel that old. In many other ways, I don’t feel half that. I think that for me, pretty much since I turned 14 until today I have always felt as though I were 27 years old. As a teenager I felt older than my chronological age, and now I feel younger than my chronological age, at least in my mind.
My wife and I are addicted to watching you both every day! We have had a really bad year but watching you makes us both smile at least once a day. Please never stop doing what your doing. Much love to you both. Ali & Marc XXX
I turned 30 on Sunday, I felt sad about not being 'young' but my mental health the last few years of my 20's has been rough. So like you both said I'm looking forward to a new decade to hopefully improve my mental health and live life how I want as it goes so quick x
I never really thought about growing old . However when I turned 37 this year I did decide that I need to be better at adulting 😀. Really love watching your videos. Can't wait for Spring it will make the days so much easier . I have started the couch to 5k which has been amazing . I ran in the fog yesterday and the rain last week . An amazing feeling of achievement . I am not a runner by any means but the interval training on the free NHS app is user friendly for any one .
Putting shelves in the kitchen opposite the fridge? Will it restrict space to turn around in that corner!!! Would be better where you said as you walk into the kitchen!? Just a thought!!😘

You have to grow old, you don't have to grow up,I'm your age too, I still surf and skateboard and have the same love of travelling around UK in the campervan as I had from being 20.. I just do it slower now.! Vw campervan and newquay is the life for me. Just booked flights for Florida in September again hope to see you there, life's not about the destination, its the journey that counts. Hi Guys. I live in the village where you visited the Standedge Tunnel in today's vlog and walked up Pule Hill in the snow between Christmas and New Year. I'd love to know what area you live in when you're not at the lodge and, if you're about once pubs are open again, it would be nice to have a well deserved drink with you when you have finished one of your local walks. I came across your vlogs through the Lanzarote ones as I'm missing my favourite holidays in Costa Teguise but thanks to you guys have to visit Puerto Calero when I eventually get back there. Growing up my mum was ill so we couldn’t plan anything due to not knowing what could happen so we grew up with the saying of “shit happens blow it off “ there is nothing you can do to change things you just have to go with it I think that’s how I’ve coped with lockdown my husband on the other hand has changed he’s been on furlough since last March and is a worrier his stress levels are through the roof it’s been really hard on him but he has now got a talking counselling service that he rings once a week so that’s helping stay safe both of you hopefully things will be better soon once the roll out of vaccines get more and more people vaccinated we can get back some normal things in life
Nicks more likely to hold a grudge & not forget answer had me in stitches. It's weird how people like myself & nick who like to stand up for themselves always get called grumpy cause like him all I receive as gifts are grumpy socks,pants or cups it's quite annoying. 😁
I'd love to see you do a review of the Mindful Chef meal box, it's the only one I can consider as they purport to be a more healthy option, and they do single portions. Would be interested in your opinion comparing it to the others.

I am like Nick finding lock down hard even though I have been lucky enough to still be able to go out to work, its not seeing my mum and grandchildren and hug them that hurts the most. Today has been a bad day just found myself crying for no reason

It is so hard to try to lose weight when you don't have anything to look forward to. There is not a lot of motivation. Once you have a trip planned it will be easier.

Lockdown is so different for everybody. Anxiety levels change/heighten, for me I’m the opposite of you. Almost jealous and I hate saying that, but I work in a large Tesco and have no choice but to go to work or not get paid ! Have stuck to the rules to the letter, but seeing your walks brings the outside in . Keep up the good work

@thelodgeguy-nick why don't you try doing an amature radio course getting the license and getting an amature radio they are cheap enough to buy I'm doing it and it's making lock down easier the exam is online and so is the course and when you pass you can talk to people either around the country or around the world.

you are right- As an American, this concept of a public footpath through someone's land is crazy! How is that safe? Who is liable if something happens? I don't even like someone walking on the sidewalk in my neighborhood if I don't know them- Americans and British have so much in common yet so many odd differences :)
Growing old is great...it's better than the alternative! I'm 60 and feel healthier, stronger and more confident than I did when I was 40. I'm of an age now where I tend to not bother what people think about me...I'm happy with who I am. X
