I just got them this past week. Love them. The volume issue you're talking about. Slapping your head like you have fleas? The answer is not wild motions. It's support the bottom of the bud with your thumb and double tap very quickly - the top of either bud to control the volume. The support allows you to have precision when tapping the very specific section of the top of the bud. Try it and get back to me. It's actually very convenient. Best review that I've watched. It was fun, not boring, really detail and relate with our daily life, and answering my whole questions of the comparison. Good job Lexy and CNET.
I have airpods pro since Jan... the right pod was damaged after the latest Firmware upgrade, sent it to apple and replaced them after 8 weeks, then guess what?! The same problem started in my left bud!!! One more thing, people doesn’t hear me clearly at all when using my airpods, even when Im home I have to switch to the mobile it self to have a clear conversation
Yeah, I pretty much constantly have earbuds in and some sort of audio playing, whether it be music, Netflix, TH-cam videos, podcasts, and the single main holdup for me about finally getting wireless headphones was the battery life, and it was the main reason I didn't like the cheaper wireless earbuds I've used in the past. On a daily basis, I wear earbuds for longer than most earbuds battery life. When the original airpods came out, that charging case made a significant step, but it didn't have the same quickcharge stuff, so I still wasn't a fan of it. Finally, with the Galaxy Buds +, there is a pair I can comfortably not outlast the battery on. Even if I do, I can put them in the case for literally 10-15 minutes (enough time for me to like, go to the bathroom and make a sandwich) and they'll be fine for like another 2-3 hours.
This is also my concern with the first few iterations of these wireless earbuds and we have the same use-case scenario for these wireless earbuds. I'm definitely getting the Galaxy Buds Plus for its battery life. 👌🏻
Pro tip for the Buds+. Enable the vol function in the Labs setting. Instead of trying to tap the top of the buds to raise and lower the volume, tap the back of your ear. The buds register the touch and raises the volume or lowers it. The back of the ear is easier to hit than the tiny portion on the top of the buds allocated for volume control.
Just picked up my Galaxy Buds+. They are great! The fit is excellent and comfortable and the sound quality is super! Plus more affordable, it's a no brainer to me. When I'm on a plane, I use my Bose for noise cancellation (You can't beat that). Thanks for a great video :)
Plz tell me which one will be better for music and calling mostly outdoor more priority Jabra Elite active 6t or samsung buds plus ?? Which one should I go for plz tell me ??
If you are Galaxy smartphone user, you MUST do is changing your codec from SBC to ACC (you should enable develop mode). Sound quality will increase absurdly!! It looks like other buds+ (more premium one). I can't understand why Samsung set default codec to SBC....
I tried these for a couple weeks as I was looking for something better for music than the pros but quite rugged for walks runs etc. I am now the proud owner of the Jabra 75t Elite Active buds
Janet Woodville yes I did calls inside and outside with both, callers remarked outdoors I sounded loud and clear, but a little more background noise than AirPods Pro
@@LexySavvides Great! Just what I needed. In order to get the color I really want I can't get them from T-Mobile. All their're going to have is Black. I want the Cloud Blue. When my Galaxy S9 is elegable for an Upgrade I'm gonna trade my S9 in for a S20 plus cloud blue.
@Joseph Michael I guess it comes down to personal preference, cause i don’t really care about the ANC and I prefer to make phone calls directly through my phone without any earphones, so the buds+ are just a better choice for me
Great video!! Can I use them to workout? I sweat a lot working out and the galaxy buds plus are barely rated IPX2. What do you think? Greetings from Spain 🇪🇸
Yes you can! I've used them on a run and they were fine. I would always wipe them down after a workout though to make sure they are completely dry before putting back in the case to charge.
I think many people don't know this thing...You don't need to touch buds inorder to toggle the volume.. just tap your ear at back side while you are wearing and you are good to go.. that's a great feature.
Can you not adjust the volume on the Buds+ the same way as the original Buds? Either way, great comparison. I own the original Galaxy Buds and though I think the sound and ANC from the Air Pods Pro is impressive, it's not worth the extra cash to me (and I'm a Samsung user).
You can make the hold on touchpad volume option, yet the lab option is better in my opinion becuase you can double tap anywhere on your ear and it will lower or raise the volume.
She’s always a ray of sunshine in our tech world. Even when this Apple Fanboy rolls his eyes over her choice. lol. Hey, if something sounds better and it’s $100 less, we all win. Plus, your going to need that extra $100 for the 1500 dollar New Sammie phone. 🤣
f0t0b0y no i’m not. i prefer apple, and like apple better. i have an x. but like idc if you dont have apple. like yeah ik the samsung is good i just prefer apple. i just think it sound dumb when you say sammie.
After using the Galaxy buds+, I have found that the labs volume controls are best when tapping the upper edge of your ear. With this, it has become 100% accurate. I think labs in the Galaxy wearable app should suggest this to people
the buds plus do have a extra ambient level to give it 4 levels and the 4the level is very good and it's like super hearing so it is better then the airpods pro and when u had the airpods pro and you said you was using it to listen to other people u was only right across from them the buds plus you can hear farther away and I never will like airpods the look like qtips or tampons in your ear
Already use Galaxy Buds+ more than two months, and incredibly amazing!!!!! Superb battery, clear sounds quality, and important things glossy finish cases ❤️ Without ANC it's still almost cover up my song from any out source of sounds. Great choice
This chick should have her own tech channel she is really good at giving detailed, cohesive and smart reviews, the British accent and pretty eyes are a plus as well. 😉
I've purchased my Lypertek TEVIs for $90, and that just blows these 2 TWS (Samsung Galaxy Buds+ and Apple AirPods) outta here with 10 Hours of playback time, and 60 extra hours of playback time, and the case charges via USB-C. The TEVIs use the Qualcomm APTx codec, along with Bluetooth ver. 5, and that these earbuds are IPX7 rated, as well.
I wear earbuds almost all day and wireless has saved me money. Wired earbuds rarely last more than 3 months for me with the wear on the wire and constantly getting ripped out of my ears while wireless last over a year. There's a bunch of cheap chinese buds on amazon as well so the only real reason to stay wired is sound quality and phone battery
Airpods pro for the looks vs Galaxy Buds for the functionality. Its soo tempting to purchase the airpods bc it gives the sleek look as if it has the same vibes of wearing white shoes but Galaxy buds make me look bulky ( I own one).
Marasa The airpods pro is good, it's pretty neutral compared to the galaxy buds which is a bit colored sounding, that's why it's gonna appeal to more people, and also the price is not gonna help

Just picked up my Galaxy Buds+. They are great! The fit is excellent and comfortable and the sound quality is super! Plus more affordable, it's a no brainer to me. When I'm on a plane, I use my Bose for noise cancellation (You can't beat that). Thanks for a great video :)
What device do you use Apple or Samsung?
Plz tell me which one will be better for music and calling mostly outdoor more priority Jabra Elite active 6t or samsung buds plus ?? Which one should I go for plz tell me ??
I'm happy I chose the Buds. It's so awesome!!!
If you are Galaxy smartphone user, you MUST do is changing your codec from SBC to ACC (you should enable develop mode).
Sound quality will increase absurdly!!
It looks like other buds+ (more premium one).
I can't understand why Samsung set default codec to SBC....
Just got the buds plus and i think idont need the anc anymore
I tried these for a couple weeks as I was looking for something better for music than the pros but quite rugged for walks runs etc. I am now the proud owner of the Jabra 75t Elite Active buds
Good for you for picking the anything but Apple product....👊😊
Hey, Do you think Airpods Pro price might go down by launching the new 'Airpods Pro Lite' version??
Love those funny, and gorgeous kind of videos.
I have an S10e, so I will go for the Buds+.
Great Lexy😊
What strain are the galaxy buds?
Have you made a call outdoors with The Galaxy Buds Plus? I need to know that this has been improved before I even thing of gettng them.
Airpods Pros are way better for calls on both ends and it's not even close!
@@josephpinczer Great, I have the AirPod Pro. Thank you.
@Joseph Michael I guess it comes down to personal preference, cause i don’t really care about the ANC and I prefer to make phone calls directly through my phone without any earphones, so the buds+ are just a better choice for me
Quick question, do you guys turn dolby atmos on when using the buds?
I really appreciated the review. Thank you very much. 😊
Which ones are louder???
Apple fan: "airpod is year a head". They will buy anything Apple makes.
Yup I love apple products. Forever an Apple fan because apple is better!

She literally got drenched for this video. I need this type of commitment to go through with my life.
That is the best unbiased review hands down. Thank you, you just made my decision clear and answered all questions that were in the back of my head.
What an entertaining video that provides a great comparison. Good job!
I have Galaxy Buds+ and i like it. $100 cheaper, better sound and there's a cool app. AirPods Pro still good
I'm a truck driver, send me the buds plus, I'll let you know if they last the manufacturer's 11 hour claim
They last around 12 for me
What no way??? Really
@@notomnithegodking wow
I think many people don't know this thing...You don't need to touch buds inorder to toggle the volume.. just tap your ear at back side while you are wearing and you are good to go.. that's a great feature.
Worth the watch every sec ❤
Thankyou so much for getting the right one
samsung earbud plus...😎
Super honest comparison. But can you compare the galaxy bud vs. Bud + if it's worth upgrading it.?
Galaxy buds all day everyday
This was the most enjoyable review I’ve watched
🙌
1:22 Patrick Holland cameo 🤣
Can you not adjust the volume on the Buds+ the same way as the original Buds? Either way, great comparison. I own the original Galaxy Buds and though I think the sound and ANC from the Air Pods Pro is impressive, it's not worth the extra cash to me (and I'm a Samsung user).
You can make the hold on touchpad volume option, yet the lab option is better in my opinion becuase you can double tap anywhere on your ear and it will lower or raise the volume.
1:28 I always watch your Videos because of you two, and mostly that guy! 😁😂
Great review! Thank you! Very thorough and answered all of my questions without any bias. Wish all reviewers were like this!
Its the Galaxy Buds+ for me.
The comparison review I was waiting for. Thanks for clarifying everything.
My wife used to work at CBSI. That garage where she was almost hit is dangerous.
The quality of videos are getting better and better! Great comparison!
f0t0b0y please don’t say sammie phone that sounds stupid.
Spent 900 for s20 plus 👌
p i p p a s m a d why? Are you a Sammie fan? 🤣
f0t0b0y no i’m not. i prefer apple, and like apple better. i have an x. but like idc if you dont have apple. like yeah ik the samsung is good i just prefer apple. i just think it sound dumb when you say sammie.
@@ducxii5389 Samsung still better tho
A comprehensive review. It would be nice if galaxy buds had an animation on iPhone upon opening the case
They do
Oh they dont

I agree the Galaxy buds plus have a super fantastic fit and sound awesome. The best set of earphones I own.
$100 gap explains everything
all it shows is the apple tax
The apple tax
I hate apple tax
For Galaxy Buds+ you can go to labs and have an extra step up to Ambient Sound. It really really amplifies the outside sound.
Yes it's true but it starts a bit robotic but still amazing
my mom put my galaxy buds in the washing machine and they are totally fine. I would 100% recommend them 🤭🙃
Oof been there too.
After using the Galaxy buds+, I have found that the labs volume controls are best when tapping the upper edge of your ear. With this, it has become 100% accurate. I think labs in the Galaxy wearable app should suggest this to people
Great tip, thanks for sharing!
the buds plus do have a extra ambient level to give it 4 levels and the 4the level is very good and it's like super hearing so it is better then the airpods pro and when u had the airpods pro and you said you was using it to listen to other people u was only right across from them the buds plus you can hear farther away and I never will like airpods the look like qtips or tampons in your ear
Can you please learn proper grammar and maybe I’ll be able to read half of what you just wrote

The comparison is excellent and comedy in it 😁😁😁
Just bought the Buds+ today and they are incredible.
When people become too broke to afford wires
I wear earbuds almost all day and wireless has saved me money. Wired earbuds rarely last more than 3 months for me with the wear on the wire and constantly getting ripped out of my ears while wireless last over a year. There's a bunch of cheap chinese buds on amazon as well so the only real reason to stay wired is sound quality and phone battery
@@MrPEYTON121 it was a joke.

Airpods pro for the looks vs Galaxy Buds for the functionality. Its soo tempting to purchase the airpods bc it gives the sleek look as if it has the same vibes of wearing white shoes but Galaxy buds make me look bulky ( I own one).
Apple have never had good sounding earphones until the beats. Lessbeehonest
Marasa The airpods pro is good, it's pretty neutral compared to the galaxy buds which is a bit colored sounding, that's why it's gonna appeal to more people, and also the price is not gonna help
@@classclownee yes good for calls and basic listening
Implying that beats are good
@@R4K1B- interms of sound quality compared to apple's.... ill take beats. Interms of call quality ill take apple
@@classclownee Every buds or earphone for amateur consumer grade has colored sound and not neutral. If you want neutral sound go with studio monitoring speakers or monitoring headphone/IEM
