So Long Scala: The Final Curtain After 51 Years - Bangkok Cinematic vlog shot with Sony A7III

💬 Story
The Scala Cinema is a 51-year-old standalone movie theater in Bangkok, Thailand named after the "Teatro alla Scala", an opera house in Milan. Scala first opened on 31 December 1969 with a screening of American civil war movie, The Undefeated (1969) and closed on 5 July 2020 with the last screening of Italian drama film, Cinema Paradiso (1988). This is the last standalone movie theater in Thailand before it's going to be deconstructed (unconfirmed).
When we were a kid, there were only a few movie theaters in department stores but now it's way more convenient to go to movie theaters in Bangkok because it's almost everywhere. We had so much joy and tears in this theater.
We took our friend model named "Mink" to this memorable theater to capture the final touch of memory event "La Scala" held by Scala, which allows anyone to take photos and videos as the last memory.
The video was shot with Sony A7III and Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 and Sony Sonnar T*FE Carl Zeiss 55mm f1.8.

I saw a movie here sometime around 2002 - and remember the theater but not the movie. Sadly, now the Scala is nothing more than a memory as it is completely demolished as of October 31, 2021.
