Twin Cities here. Hard to do yard work in the pouring rain. I'm hoping that more dams don't give way. I'm thinking that Valley Fair might be closed. Three rides were inundated last I heard. Turn around, don't drown. I might get a boat. Don't have time to build an ark!

That pasture is filled with dangerous obstacles....disaster waiting to happen. Also, that fence line will be very difficult to maintain. It will be eaten up by trees and brush.

Al, get a roll of flaging tape and tie pieces on the wire. That has helped me in the past with deer. It's not 100% but it has sure helped

Hello 👋 Al, with the moose and deer issue with fencing, could you tie pieces of bright ribbon on the wire between posts as I have seen people do for hot wire and horses for visibility and the movement gets their attention in a very slight breeze. That glacial boulder shows it’s striation marks when it was still bedrock b4 it was broken up======. U could see which way the glacier was moving…….. u can still see the marks of the outcroppings in Central Park,NYC,,,,ur lucky guys having these great geo features on ur prop.

Goood morning from AZ. Happy, beautiful Blessed Anniversary. That rock you showed Gina. To me, it looks like brutus's head resting on a bench rock.
Ms Gina, consider putting an emphasis in growing some common, garlic, and also Siberian chives from seed this late fall and early winter for putting out in the "garden" spring of '25. Like your sage, if they are reasonably well established by winter, they will probably winter over most winters. Bees and pollinators love them if let go to flower; and generally flower before many other flowers. Once established they are generally fuss free, free of pest insects, disease free, usually deer free, self mounding, and don't require a lot of tending. Use them in the garden beds, as ornamentals, or transplant them in the ground as little clumps at the edges of your garden area; bunnies tend to shy clear of them too.
Try hanging short pieces of brightly colored ribbon every few feet along your top wire of the electric fence. This may help the moose and other large animals see the wire before running into it.
Al did say he was getting a top wire that he hoped the moose would see more. I sure like your idea of ribbon on the top wire. Have a wonderful day!

To a bone, sometimes hooking up your trailer. Make sure your engines t is off when you hook. Your trailer lights up because when you do that. And you put too much strain by plugging that. In with the the key switch on it strains the system and blows the fuses on the trailer side of the Truck plug.

We found that if you wrap your lettuce in aluminum foil, it'll last a week for 2, maybe 3 weeks long over.
Would adding bright flags warn the deer/moose of the presence
and warning of the wire?

Might have some success in using short plastic streamers like those used for years by car lots to catch attention. They flap in the breeze and make noise that hopefully will alert the moose to the fence. They come in 40 foot strips. The irridescent ones are really eye catching.

Maybe add “bird strips” glitter strips which reflect light and and will appear to be a wall to deer and maybe moose so they may avoid the fence.
