This was so cool to watch you guys play. Also, looking on the net I found an explaination why 6 betrays mono. It seems like when she is holding him, since he has no mask on anymore, she recognizes his face being the same of the thin man. So she drops you bc she wants to save herself/is scared. Ironically, this is bc of her betrayal that he becomes the thin man tho.
I heard that there are alternate endings too! So what if they put on a different hat before they battle creepy six and then she saves them at the end!
Meaning if she didn’t drop him he wouldn’t have become the thin man -_-

I do Love that six shows off her toy when in the x-ray, it's adorable, also bone doesn't burn even in an incinerator, it has to be ground up into a powder after the cremation process.
That’s partially correct. Usually all that’s left are bone fragments, which are then ground further into powder. But the bones themselves are usually heated hot enough to calcify and crumble.
Even if the bones don't burn, the stuff holding them together would. So a hand wouldn't stay looking like a skeleton hand, it would just be a pile of bones.

this was so epic! the story of this game is amazing. the secret ending is so good! it helps explain how Six is always hungry (or I think at least, since her soul won't ever be there again)
It explains more than just her hunger, it basically confirms that not only is mono in a loop but she is too.

This game already looked awesome (especially due to the lighting and level design), but the flashlight mechanic added an extra tense vibe to it which was amazing to watch
I liked the original game a lot, but this one was so much better. Not only was the level design great, but I like that they added a lot of mechanics (ducking in the lake, using the axe & pipes to kill/ break things, using the flashlight to light and freeze enemies, using the remote & TV portals, using/ avoiding the electrified water, etc).
I kinda hope they do make a 3rd game now bcos I'm interested to see what this could go in the future.
Theory: what if Six is the little nightmare? I mean the first game showed that she could be evil. And in this one, she was locked away. What if the possession thing with the music box was a way to keep her tame? And when the boy broke it, it freed her again. Also, what if Six let go of his hand as revenge for breaking her music box? It seems like the most important thing to her.....

My theory: everyone is “hypnotised” by the TV as it has just been invented. Mono is trying to travel back to save his past self from six. Six is the one who trapped him in the hallway originally, which is why slender-mono kidnapped Six to the TV dimension as revenge. The ceramic children in the school are the droopy people who were on the boat eating, trying to escape mono. Mono’s powers allowed him to create a time loop to try and save himself. All of the cages seen throughout little nightmares one and two are children who Dr Phil made to replace the older generation, kept in cages to prevent them being hypnotised and kidnapped by mono. All of the guts and body parts in the TV dimension are people who have been sucked into the TV which allowed mono to grow into slender-mono. The secret ending depicts six finding her powers in the TV. Throughout Little nightmares 2 six hasn’t been hungry yet when the shadow disappears she suddenly is. Meaning that when the powers were sucked into her body they needed feeding

when I did my playthrough my game glitched so I didnt have to do the ENTIRE portion where you had to run from the mannequins. I didnt even know that was a feature and thought the flashlight was ultimately useless until I tried to get the secret ending and had to replay

My theory is that Six knew that she had to betray mono anyways bc she would have eaten Mono if she would have helped him up but instead she dropped him because she didn't want to kill him herself. She knows this because in the scene you meet her in where they first meet there is a drawing of the signal tower on the wall and a picture of six and mono but mono's head is scratched out.
In the secret ending six pops out of a TV and she sees shadow six. ( The power she gained from when she defeated the lady) Shadow six is Six's hunger. You can see Shadow six when Six is eating in the first game. Showing that her power has a side effect on her. When Shadow six looks at the poster in the ending, you can see that it is a picture of the Maw. ( the setting you play in the first game. ) I think that Shadow Six is telling her to go to the Maw. Hence, in the LN comics, you can see the boatman taking Six to the Maw. Therefore Six survives the Maw and defeats the Lady. If you look at the Lady's bedroom you can see a torn picture of Six and broken mirrors everywhere.
I will discuss that later but let's talk about Mono's side of the story. Obviously, we can tell that the story is a time loop because Six turns into the lady, and Mono turns into Thinman. This is why Mono and the Thinman have the same powers. Same with Six, she also has similar powers to the Lady.

I watched this at night
A lot of the scenes reminded me of Until Dawn tbh (probably bcos the abandoned hospital reminds me of the sanitorium in Until Dawn, and both games have really tense moments lol).
Part of me would love to see Evan and Katelyn play Until Dawn (& other similar games like Man of Medan, Detroit: Become Human, etc), but part of me also hopes they don't play it bcos I wouldn't want them to be upset/ disappointed if they made choices that killed some characters.
It could be cool to see Evan and Katelyn play more story games in general tbh, i.e. Uncharted, God Of War, Resident Evil, Far Cry, Half-Life: Alyx, At Dead of Night, The Last of Us, Tomb Raider, Quantum Break, Tales from the Borderlands, etc.
Obviously story games are more episodic and thus are a bit more of a commitment, but they're also sometimes the most entertaining to watch, so it could be interesting to see E&K try a few more of them.

I know it would not fit the game but imagine if they could talk. Like the entire time six and mono would be joking around about them almost dying then at the end when they are running she's already drawn the connection between mono and the tall man and she would just look at mono with like a cold stair before they run and mono is just like oof I'm in trouble.

My theory.
There's a never ending cycle where something at first made mono turn into the tall man (different from the ending) and then mono tried to stop it from happening by separating six from his younger self but he started the never ending cycle that is shown in the game but he just thinks six is evil so he keeps trying different ways of getting rid of her instead than before instead of realizing thats why she let him fall. He's desperately trying to stop it. Maybe the original thing had to do with six betraying him in a dif way (all though I feel like the only reason she betrayed him is because she knew he was the tall man so idk) or maybe something else happens where six turns evil or something, anything that would make the cycle kick off. I know there's some sort of secret ending maybe that will give some clue but i haven't seen it.
