She spelled Thailand "Tailand". And she said to the American visitor in English that " I'm not good at Chinese language." which should be" I'm not good at THE Chinese language." So, her English is good??? I believe MINE is so much better than hers!
To be fair, Tsai is competent in English. However, I won't go that far praising her with British accent. In fact, her accent makes me think of Singaporean English. But let us not get sidetracked. Fluency in English does not make her a good president, especially a good president that our Country needs desperately right now to become great again. She plunges our economy into crisis and leads the economy into a dead end that we could never be able to recover without a new policy reform. I do not blame her because the political baggage she is carrying does not allow her to do so easily. We need a new leader, a leader who could turn the ship around to avoid the iceberg. We need a new leader who could make policy reform happen and work great again for our Country.
She inherited the situation left behind Ma Ying-jeou, who did a lot of damages to Taiwan. To become a good president, inheritances from Ma are not excuses not to improve. Ma's policies would tie too much to China and leave Taiwan with much less chance to stay independent. I believe Tsai had had very good directions to untie Taiwan from China. It takes time for any policy changes to work. It is especially so for a small country like Taiwan where resources are limited. There are prices to be paid if you want to stay independent. Unless you want to be ruled by CCP and live a life like Shanghai today. Your choice. Fight for your rights or getting enslaved by CCP.

There are many mistakes in her speech and she read it as if she is in pain. To listen to president Tsai's speech in English is a suffering experience, one feels rather to shewing grass instead to listening her talk in English. She should fire her staff who wrote this speech paid a million dollar per month.

第一這種片可後製，剪接轉鏡頭好多次真的不準(要看出英文能力必需現場直播,,而且沒事先套招過)，第二用的幾乎全是簡單句，這種英文還不錯啦大約是美國小二生的程度。還有語氣感情真的是很差大蓋跟她冷人性格有關，主持人的英文發音中文口音好重
