same 3.5 V6 as the IS350 but down 50 hp and tq. Option to bump the power up?
under the hood is awesome, anyway this car is outstanding
2.0 Turbo RWD is the one with the best value. The IS350 N/A if you need AWD.
Lovely car. You sure that's soft touch at the top a those doors? Looks like hard plastic. Same as on my 2017 IS.
Top of those doors is a hugeee turn off. Looks like a 2005 Corolla 😂

Im in the Market for a new vehicle. Where i live i really would like to have a AWD. The ES 350 is a little too big length wise. And also have been hearing the ES 250 AWD is slow. Im torn in between this and the Acura TLX AWD and Volvo S60. But for luxury Vehicles Lexus seems to be at the Top of Stolen list especially being shipped to other Countries . I guess I'll just get a Pinto 😄😮
Did you pick one yet? I also like the S60 but think the IS is a good choice.
@corbinsensei sorry I'm a month behind responding..lol yes I ended up getting this pre-owned. After further research, the Volvo S60 although nice with their new engines. I've heard can be a complete nightmare. And everyone seems to be doing turbo.
Lexus needs to make the 8 speed work with the AWD. And make the 350 the base and develop a more powerful engine upgrade. Leaving the base 350 NA and developing a turbocharged upgrade would be brilliant.
They actually need to redesign the car from the ground up. Turbo I4 with 280hp at the bottom and the turbo V6 with 380-400hp at the top. Bring back the IS500 with 500+ hp. Yes 8-speeds with all engines. New interior, totally new car. This car goes back to 2006. Its pathetic.

@@MercOne Agree with all except I think you leave the base as the 300HP IS 350 the 2GR-FXE V6 with no turbo and offer a twin turbo v6 around 400 HP call it the IS450 and tune the V8 to 500+HP and call it the IS550. That way there is a non turbo option for people who don’t want a turbo. It will be the least powerful option but it will attract sales from people who want turbos or a V8. Then redesign everything like you said.
Even w/ less power the integra is a much better option w/ a manual trans & costs like $10k less
That's the idea make subjective feel enhanced like eating pizza with pepperoni as opposed to witout toyota turbo 4cyl are lousy subaru does a better job now when it comes to turbo 4cyl boxer will always give better power from same displacement

Why dose it get such bad MPG's? A 300hp Camry gets better and an Audi S3 awd gets way better.

Lexus really needs to update the tech in its entry level cars. My 2010 altima has most of the tech this has.
