    #MWO (#MechwarriorOnline) by Piranha Games. Free to play at mwomercs.com. MechWarrior Online is a free-to-play vehicular combat video game, officially launched during September 2013 by Piranha Games for Microsoft Windows. The game takes place within the larger #BattleTech universe. In MechWarrior: Online, players takes the role of aMechWarrior who pilots large bipedal combat vehicles known as BattleMechs (Mech for short). Players can customize their BattleMech with an array of weapons and equipment, and engage in 12 versus 12 battles, the outcome of which earns the players experience and c-bills for future BattleMech purchases and customization. There are currently seven game modes that involve protecting and attacking a single base (Assault), capturing and holding several points (Conquest), take and hold the center of the map (Domination), attacking a space defense system (Siege/Counter-Attack), protecting and attacking field bases with turrets and walls spread across the map (Incursion), and team death-match (Skirmish)."

    xl anni? mad lad. Matches like these almost never happen, when sniping there's always that one guy that makes it his lifes mission to harass you for the whole match.

    • @TTBprime
      @TTBprime  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Just gotta harass him back so hard he dies or goes somewhere else. Light mechs for example tend to fuck off after taking 2 salvos to the face.

    the anni was built for long range city defense, 6 er ppcs are just a natural choice tbh.

    TTB when are you going to do an Anni MB Thunderbolt build? 2x20 and 2x15. It's massive destruction.

    I honestly don't see why ppc's are used. ER Large lasers do more damage for less heat. Is it because PPC's shoot a single projectile to just dump all the damage in one quick burst? Am I missing something in how PPC's do damage?

    • @pilotnamealreadytaken6035
      @pilotnamealreadytaken6035 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Ppc's = fake damage... the one guy he killed here... fell on his own sword. 😂

      PPCs also knock out stealth and ecm temporarily, so it has some slight utility over other weapons in that regard.

    • @ghoulbuster1
      @ghoulbuster1 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      PPCs have the advantage of doing 10 damage pinpoint, so this build does 30+30*2 before overheating.
      IS ERPPCs also got a HUMONGOUS velocity buff so it's way easier to hit now.

      @rcflem หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      The heat is less and the damage is more for ERLL and it’s balanced by the fact that it’s more difficult to dump all that damage in one spot to remove a side torso or leg. Especially if that person knows how to twist and splash that damage across five different hit boxes.

    So what’s better/ more prefered PPC or LLpulse still kind of new to this game

    • @CrypticQuote
      @CrypticQuote หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends on mech and what you're trying to do. Quirks/hard points will often dictate what a mech should do. If you're new really focus on those 2 things, build your mechs with 1 or 2 weapon systems that compliment quirks. As you get better experiment more but those 2 things should really dictate how you build.

    • @CrypticQuote
      @CrypticQuote หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      For example the mech used in this video has a heat scale limit quirks for ppc's. It's usually run as a snub brawler but in this case ttb went insane and slapped an xl in it and turned it into a sniper (erppcs have huge range but are spicy). Putting lasers on this mech is a waste of powerful quirks.

    • @diet_dr.demoncore
      @diet_dr.demoncore หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      both have tradeoffs, lasers are hitscan but require more time on target, ppc's deal pinpoint damage instantly but require leading the target

    • @samueljwilliamsmusic
      @samueljwilliamsmusic หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      PPCs and Lasers both have strengths and weaknesses. PPCs are good if you have good aim and want short exposure to enemy fire. They tend to run very hot, and usually need longer games to rack up damage, because you can't fire very many at once. Lasers are better if your aim is weak, because they are hitscan-- whatever you're pointed at is what they're hitting. While they are still hotter than ballistic weapons, they output a lot of damage for less weight. Also, you can combine large, medium, and small lasers for a high single-volley damage number. PPCs max out on single-volley damage at maybe 35-45, while a laser alpha strike can be as much as 80 or more for a single trigger pull as long as you have enough hard points to load that many Lasers in your mech. But, as the other commenter said, each mech has quirks that may make it more suited to one weapon type or another. Be sure to check what each mech is quirked for when you buy it so that you have an idea what weapons to run. Some mechs have massive cooldown, heat generation, or rate-of-fire bonuses if you run the weapon it calls for.

      Depends on the mech's quirks.
      LPLs work better paired with ERMLs.
      PPCs work better boated alone or paired with ballistics.
