🌊🌊🌊Oh my gosh! I was just talking to my Mom about Twilight....because she loves the series! I mean...what a time to for film, it just had this essence to it, that I reminisce about til this day 🌊🌊🌊
yaassssssss!!! I feel the same! LOL about the moms w/Twilight... it pretty much grabbed every woman I know of.. I think it was touching on a lot of classic lit. The Dracula story, for example, I listened to the audiobook within the last year & I have to say, I kept comparing it to Twilight and it was interesting to see where certain ideas of the vampires in Twilight, where the author may have gotten some of those ideas from. But they really elevated Edward's character to this impossible standard because most men might have a difficult time living up to such a standard. The characters are essentially obsessed with each other, but that's nearly impossible to do in reality because we don't live in an immortal world with super hero abilities... super speed, super strong, mentally tougher, etc. etc. It was definitely a fun show. Soap opera-esque.
Great timing! I just watched Charlie's Angels (2000) last night and had forgotten how good it is. Action, humor, beautiful women, and a fun time capsule from the turn of the millennium. Out of your four movies, I've only seen Batman Begins. I haven't thought about that movie in almost 20 years, but now I remember it was a good one. A co-worker recommended I give Twilight the book a try, and I got through the first chapter. I lost interest though. I've heard nothing but good things about Inception. I just haven't got around to watching it yet. Thanks for the reviews. Looking forward to more. 😎
Hey Zach, it's funny you say that about the Twilight book because you're not alone. Twilight, as much of a following that it has, just isn't for everyone. It's a bit of a cult classic. Quite frankly, I see it as something... "immature." lol. I say this because of my neighbor, she's since moved, but we tried to book swap once and she gave Twilight a try and just could not stomach it. My neighbor and I connected on a great many things, but she had a lot more structure in her life and I am definitely more of an "artist type personality," if that says anything. I performed at Disney, whereas she went to school for engineering and worked doing something of the sort at Disney behind the scenes. I think I just viewed her as someone more mature all in all. I honestly have never seen Charlie's Angels. lol. I think I was bitter against Candace Cameron (an actress I don't even know, shame on me) because she was dating Justin Timberlake at the time, and I was team Britney Spears, this was post break up of Britney Spears & Justin Timberlake. I was still in high school mind you, or about that age and so quite immature mentally, I suppose, lol. But to be honest, I just wasn't a huge Charlie's Angels fan, though I may be persuaded to watch it at some point. I think for me too, was.. Farah Fawcett... nobody was ever going to replace her in my mind, as an angel. The idea of anyone else just didn't sit with me. Maybe I should get over myself and see it. lol. I hope its streaming free somewhere. As for Inception, as I'm watching this video, I see that I have little to say about it when I compare it to the others. I will say, it does put me in a bit of a somber tone. It's a mind bending type of film, but it's not one that will make me laugh or bring joy. It does have some action scenes though. Thanks again for watching! Yes, will have to do more. xoxo
@@OakesPrincess Forgot to mention: Charlies Angels is free on TH-cam right now. I'm not sure if it will be your kind of movie, but yes, it's better not to compare it to the original.
I've never seen oceans 12 (or any of the oceans films) and inception 🙈 I'll have to watch them some day! I think the films that made the biggest impressions on me were the devil wears prada (i think i watched it almost every night after work when it came out on dvd), the LOTR trilogy (i think you already covered those in another video), hotel Rwanda, moulin rouge, and slumdog millionaire Oh also America's sweetheart with Catherine zeta Jones and Julia roberts too! I love that movie still
@lunalilaclily I haven't seen devil wears prada in awhile! I should totally watch it again! I've never seen Hotel Rwanda, and as for Moulin Rouge, my husband and I loved that movie! We used to watch it together often back in the day. Can you believe that I never saw Slumdog millionaire?! Crazy, I know. It was huge back in the day! Everyone said it was amazing, but I was so afraid to see the poverty. I knew what it was going to be like and I knew I was going to cry. Maybe one day I'll force myself. 😭😭 I did enjoy America's sweetheart with Jones, lol.. I still say, "Kiki! Kiki kins!!!" Lol
Jennifer :) Lol at your debate with Constance 😂 You're a very kind person plus God loves all of us as well, I like to think :) I wouldn't stress about your love of Twilight 😂 I remember quite liking Twilight as well, despite its flaws and jokes people have made about it :) I remember really liking Rosalie's character and thinking her backstory was super sad :( I quite like the superhero films too :) I hear you about what Clueless could potentially teach but like you, it's a favorite of mine and the characters are very sweet and young and I guess a positive could be that Cher tries to learn to think of others more as the story goes on 🤔❤
@emmad.176 Cher was awesome! I still say, "my bad" & relive certain lines like, "omigosh...I love Josh!!" 🤭 I heard the clueless story was taken from Jane Austin, her novel "Emma," which is on my "to read" list.. thanks for sharing!
I think if Twilight had come out when i was a teen, I would have thought waiting for marriage was cool. I'd not have been into the boys i liked back then because they didn't sparkle 😂
@gwynnethsmith9226 yes, I have to say, twilight was a good influence in that way, lol, not saying everyone followed it... i think Bella represented what every girl wanted, or she voiced teen girl thoughts, but Edward was the mature, stable, unwavering, uncompromising one and so he was safe. Bella knew he loved her and would die for her. He did try to offer her a human life, but it just led to Jacob being a 3rd leg. Lol so anyway. Yes, that sparkle ability, that's just something I've had to accept that my husband cannot do. Lol

Interesting choices,I would never guess you are a twilight fan.
@amandanelson339 it's my dark secret.. lol it's technically my sister, niece, & I who giggle like school girls together over this series. 😅😅
