Really happy this turned into an album listen. IVE really put a lot into this album. Shout out to the company for trusting them to nail all these different styles. And yeah, I knew the cats would absorb Özlem. Baddie is probably my favorite of the ones that got M/V (Off record being "better" but whatever) and Payback on the album as a whole. IVE has come so far.
It’s completely okay if you don’t like Baddie ; the composer even told us before it’s release that some of us might not like it and that’s okay. I think Baddie was majorly to prove a point. IVE’s concept from their debut has always been to show many sides of themselves and not be stuck to one concept or image. I’ve MINE is such a great body of work, it’s hard to pick favorites but I will say Holy Moly & Payback are now THE standard for IVE b-sides because those two are INCREDIBLE. Baddie is a massive grower, it does throw you off a little since it’s so different from the rest of the songs on this album but once you get over that, it’s ADDICTIVE as hell!!!

Love Baddie especially the end where they overlay the Nananas with the chorus also Rei and Gauel rapping once again. The production on OTT just makes me feel really happy as well like it’s just a vibe. 💜

my reaction was pretty much the same, loved every track on 1st listen except for baddies, which took a few listens to grow on me and I think it was due to how different it was from either way and off the record, but once it did grow on me I had that on loop a lot after XD Also that little sample of holy moly in the medley highlight, I had the same reaction to it from that and was so hyped to listen to it, it didn't disappoint. :D

OTT has early doja cat vibes for me. Baddie has been like Kitsch were I needed to listen a few times to like it, but it was catchy from the start. Either way they release one banger after the other.
First few times I listened to it, I just couldn't get behind it. It did eventually grow on me, though. I don't choose to listen to it, but it's no longer a skip.
