    Civil War Sulter's Tokens are worth much more than the CW Indian Head cents. I only found one from 30 years of detecting.

      I’m sure a Sulters Token is worth much more than the Indian head but I’m extremely happy with a Civil War Indian head. I don’t detect for monetary value of items. I detect for historical value of items. The Indian head coin was dropped from a soldier within the Civil War camp so it’s historical value is priceless to me. God bless. -JP Hunts

    flat buttons are dated to 1790's-1820's and the fatty Indian pennies are dated to 1859-1864.
