The first time I tried to buy alcohol the local bottle shop turned me down. So as a teenager I resorted to the local weed dealer and spent my money on weed instead, he certainly wasn’t gonna turn me down
Just watched the whole series on BBC i player after this TH-cam recommendation..... Honestly best reminiscent material on telly since the inbetweeners. The generation that are in their very late twenties, early to mid thirties will definitely love this one. 10 out of 10.
I really wish they did the series without his older self looking back on the memories, I still love the show but it would have been way better without him as an adult reminiscing on the past, anyone else think this as well lmao
Just came to the comments to see if anyone else was thinking this. I found his last comment funny but felt maybe it could've been done better with a cut scene to the character at the catering course or something else.
That misses the point of the show though lad. Whole point is a more mature guy looking back at his past and learning from it to help him deal with situations in his present.
Hands down one of the best shows I've watched in a long time, keeping fingers crossed for season 4, They left on season 3 with more enough of a reason to do so
@G Walker Are you just looking through the comment section for people talking about the inbetweeners so you can inform them all they don't understand the show?
Not a bad show overall, enough laughs and decent character development. Just didn’t like Liam’s older self butting in to say what was right or wrong in a scene. Just allow us to make our own mind up and view the tension for what it is.
I enjoyed that. It was great comedy. He would step in and call himself a prick or something. I think this show is quite unique and actually pretty great.

@@kanyewest2729 Correct. I used to work in a supermarket, but I could usually tell when someone was underage, unlike the older staff members, however I once got caught out in a sting the Police set up. They sent a girl in who was 16 if I remember correctly, but she didn't look like a child, she looked like a man. She was at least 6ft 2ins tall, and must have weighed at least 20 stone. She looked a bit like *Ronda Rousey* does today, in face and body, but bigger, and more muscular. I got away with not having to pay a fine, because even the Police admitted she didn't look her age. Then there's people like my nephew who's 6 and a half years younger than me. I used to take him out clubbing with me when he was 18yo, and I was nearly 26yo, yet people always thought he was 25yo, and usually thought I was his late 20's to 30yo cousin. I've only just turned 35 now.
