    I own a 1974 Fiat 126 , spaceframe chassis and a heavily modified Ford Ecoboost engine in the rear. Love all things Autobianchi/FAZA/Abarth. What a handsome car the 112 is. !

    This is the car I drove in the mid 1970s when I was still a young guy. Good looking design, marvellous roadholding, unbeatable in curves, even BMWs couldn't keep up. It was a lot of fun and easy to service. But it rusted like nobody's business. The floor and sheet metal around the headlights were rusted through after 4 years. German winters did that, I daresay it would have lasted far longer in Italy. I wouldn't mind having one again with the more advanced technology we have now and better rust protection, even if I'm not a young man anymore.
    Enjoy yourself while you're young because that's gone before you realise it.

    My parents had an A112 Abarth when I was a kid. A very cool car! Difficult to find in the parking lots as it was always hiding behind the bigger cars 🤣

      I have a sticker on my ´88 Suzuki Swift GT-i trunk doors and there is sentence: Great Lovers don´t need a big cars. And It is true.

    Muito bom! Mas no Brasil, isso se chama reforma. Restauração é retirar a pintura na lata e refazer todos os preparativos anti corrosão, que com a tecnologia e materiais atuais ficam melhores que na época do carro. É deixa-lo como saído de fábrica. Mesmo assim vocês estão de parabéns pelo belo serviço. Esses modelos não vieram para o Brasil. Aqui tem o Fiat 147. Um dia importo algum desses para cá. Abraços para toda equipe!

    come vorrei io, quest'auto doveva essere smontata completamente , sabbiata fin dentro negli scatolati, nei passaruote,nelle centine dei vetri, nei battitacco, insomma dappertutto , sopra e sotto,fatte le lamiere nuove in ogni parte, saldate . poi tre psassate di minio , e alla fine il processo di verniciatura da zero; per i miei gusti , non so per scarse disponibilità finianziarie o per volontà del propietario , quello che vedo mi irrita. è un procedere che non risolve ma nasconde.

      Preserviamo il più possibile l'origine dell'auto, senza ruggine, la sabbia distrugge i pezzi, utilizziamo un altro sistema, tutto il nostro lavoro è garantito. Grazie per il tuo commento.

      è questo il punto dove non segui le lie intenzioni. quando dici che la sabbia distrugge i pezzi di lamiera - è logico. se sono fradicie.... per me nessuno mai ti inficierà l'originalità del lamierato se la sostituzione è fatta ad arte. la ruota inglese e le presse manuali che ci stanno a fare. sinceramente è tutta una scusa per non affrontare lavori e costi.
