SKYRIM | The Companions Questline ft. Kaidan & the Fratpack

- My playthrough of the Companions questline using the mods Kaidan 2, Kaidan Extended Edition, Kaidan Immersive features, and At Your Own Pace (amongst many many others but these are the main gameplay mods at work). You should know this veers away from the vanilla questline a bit to fit my preferred narrative for my Dragonborn but I hope that that's as refreshing to you as it was for me. :)
Kaidan and his relationship with the wolf twins and the Dragonborn is heavily featured because I love him and he's always with me and I also love the wolf twins dearly. And because THE Kaidan update is out and its amazing. It adds so much more fun and interest to this questline I have been playing for a decade now.
Despite what it sounds like the romance between the DB and Kai takes a backseat here. By the end of the companions questline they haven't been together. They just shamelessly flirt at most lmao (that's only because I wanted to draw out the love triangle I had between DB, Kai, and Brynjolf...if ya know, ya know). ;) So no complaining !!
I already liked this mod extension, but their speech at 45:10 made me cry. Kaidan finally gets friends and family, gets acceptance and trust 😌
This usually isn't the kind of video i watch but i thoroughly enjoyed it. You're game looks fabulous. Absolutely loved the banter between the brothers and Kaiden. The Companions are my favourite faction. Always looking for ways to make it better. Great video. I will be checking out more of your vids for my Skyrim fix 😁

Being able to see what you've done with the game and how you've practically remade it visually from the ground up really shows me what the nexus were trying to achieve with their "collections" . As a poor little mod "whelpling" if i could click a button to just magic my game into looking like this i would do so in a heartbeat.

If you're looking for a modlist/visual look similar to mine and want easy(ish) "button press" type installation I would check out the NOLVUS modlist! When I first started modding I used their visual recommendations as a base and over time made swaps and adjustments to make my game my own.

Loved the whole video, the banter, the shenanigans, Kaidan's jealousy, and Farkas and Vilkas making him jealous. Love the mods you are using, I wanted to know, which hairstyles and armors does your character have and where would we get them, as well as Kaidan's hair ?

@@Lavendarrr Thanks so much for letting me know! I've seen a lot of videos over the last few months over the Immersive Features, once I get a new PC( this one is too old to run skyrim anymore) I'll download it, and I was like, wait, that's really prettyhair, gotta ask them lol
@@Lavendarrr Also, ,had a single question, what did you do for them to have those conversations at those moments, is it like just full on flirting without " getting together " and those would pop up around those quests (the ones related to the romance " the dibs, the reformed, etc)or was it something else ? Seems for me that I might have taken too long to flirt since mosts of those lines are after the Companions main quest lol ( found out it was on xbox and I've been having a blast )
There are a number of interactions for every romance and quest stage so I would just play, take your time, and have fun (as it sounds like you have)! I know for a fact that I didn't hear every interaction in my playthrough which is great because when I play again it's more than likely I will hear something I haven't before. The convo cooloff timer for most companion interactions is 6 hours i believe so if you wanna hear new convos just wait for 6-24 hrs and/or you can push companion dialogue via the MCM or the Kaidan Power if you are on xbox. There are of course kai romance and companions quest requirements but if you have been taking your time with both and hanging out in jorvaskr I wouldn't sweat it. :) You can always play again! @@e.blackbird6019
@@Lavendarrr Ah ok ok , and was Kaidan's face was it a mod you dowloaded , or did you make it ? In the Thieve's guild, I'm already at the part where Mercer is like Meet me at the temple ( For karliah) while the last dialogue that is related to IF is when brynolf is telling kaidan to leave because we can find someone better, and I'm like ,WHERE'S THE MURDER TALK ?!

@Lavendarr love your videos! 😍 im a big kaidan fan and always wondered what mod hanshot uses to recruit the whole fratpack? I know there are follower extender mods out there but im scared theyll break my game 😂
Thank you! I use (and I think han uses this as well) Nether's Follower Framework. Lots of folks who play with Kaidan use it with no issues - just make sure to not import Kaidan into the framework and imo its perfectly safe :)

I can't get him wear the armor with a mod because it conflicts with another mod that replaces his face I don't know why
I really like kaidan and ive been wanting to try immersive features but for some reason i cant find nemesis file on xbox
I have moonlight tales installed and i sweat right after i saved kaidan we was attacked and i got infected and refused to use the cure potion he gives me just to see his reaction lol (i went back to an old save and took it cause i want to see if there is any dialogue for the werewolf event for the companions)

How to did you get the skyrim more realistic in the game if you don't mind me asking?
I have my skyrim modlist posted on my page! Improving models, textures and lighting will make the game look more real. There are a lot of YT videos that have simple visual overhaul modlists too. Mine is a bit crazy haha :)

I was wondering if anyone could help me? I've got the kaiden extended edition, kaiden 2.1.1 and the Companions at your own pace installed on Xbox one, but i haven't got the same dialogue between kaiden and the brothers in the companions. Am i doing something wrong or not have the right mods needed for this?😭 Any help i would really appreciate!! Thank you.
You need Kaidan Immersive features for companion interactions!

Damn you all your going to make me get Skyrim and i have ps4 i dont konwbhow to mod i use yo watch top five skyrim mods of the week on GameSpot all the time i thought it was amazing but i have only ever play vanilla and the dawngurd and dragonborn DLCs i so jealous lol it sucks being poor and in a place with not wifi

I actually didn't make this Kaidan! This Kaidan is from "Highly Poly Kaidan" on nexus 😊 I'm also not very good at making male characters haha!
