I watched a different variation of this but have to say I like this version better. Is there a way to increase this stitch in a pattern?

I’ve been crocheting a stitch similar to this for about 20 years, except I use a single crochet instead of slip stitch. I can’t remember where I learned it, or what my stitch was called.

Thank you!! I've been looking for something that I can work in a c2c diagonal method. Now to get the math and multiples right, lol.
