I was disappointed that Saudi Arabia didn't progress to the 2nd round during the world cup after beating Argentina. I knew the Saudis would have problems with European opposition ( Poland) due to their inexperience against nations from that continent. I guess repeating what they did at USA 94 was not to happen. Japan and Korea are favourites for this. Let's hope Saudis learnt their lesson from their experience during the last world cup
Our defeat against Poland and Mexico was very anticipated by most Saudis even the coach wrote in his report after Argentina win that the players can’t win the next two matches and it’s not for experience as much as for physical strength to keep pushing after they emptied their tank in the first game. If Poland was the first game I truly believe Saudi team could win it easily. The new generation of Saudi footballers need to be worked hard since they are kids in terms of physical strength and disciplince.
@@al3ndlib hopefully the Saudi league Will attract more major stars at their peak age and that Will give them the experience and knowledge of playing with elite players from South America and Europe... interestingly Saudi head to head with Japan and Korea is good as Japan and Korea have a good record against European and South American opposition.

A difficult victory for Saudi Arabia against Oman.When they were led by Oman in the first half due to a goal on the penalty spot and it was clear that Oman had a good playing style and it was annoying to have to wait until the 78th minute of the match when Saudi Arabia with the equalizing goal and the goal in the final stages of in the 90+6 minute Mr. Roberto Mancini and his team got the first 3 points at this year's Asian Cup ☺️. Anyway, against a difficult opponent like Oman Saudi Arabia's 3 points are still quite good 👍
