I own DOS on PC. I've already pro-ordered for PS4 and I'm a backer for DOS2. This is the kind of support a company that works hard to improve it's products and respects it's users deserves and I'm happy to do so.

I still cannot get over the fact that you guys put so much effort into your games. The big companies responsible for the bigger, more known titles should be ashamed.
Actually no, I take that back. The big companies responsible for smaller and more expensive titles should be ashamed. How is it that they can fuck up so many things with all their money and resources and you guys out-do them in every single damn aspect.. It's both amazing and kinda embarrassing.

... however, is that the final global UI across all platforms, or are us PC gamers getting something more tailored to a "0.5m from screen, using a k/m" experience rather than a "5m from screen, using a controller" one? ;)
+Sabin1981 No, the UI that Swen was playing for is for the controller. The keyboard and mouse will be different with some more improvements.

But if you are on a PC and you plug in a controller, the game will switch to the console UI.

It`s things like DOSEE why I always will keep supporting Larian Studios on Kickstarter every single time they load up a new project. I am getting so much in return that it`s out of question if I have even to worry about if they will deliver over time or not...

Thank you so much for this update. You are showing other developers how it should be done. I sure hope you are rewarded for your efforts! You deserve it. I can't wait until I am able to play the EE PC version on my TV while sitting in my recliner!!! Big Picture Mode here I come!
Now that's how you sell a game! My copy is coming tomorrow and I can't wait. Never got to play it the first time around and with all the extra love the enhanced edition has obviously had I'm pretty sure I'm going to love it.
Larian Studios is the best example of a video gaming studios ever. Thank you so much guys. I have never thought I'd love your game before I bought it and you kept improving it and giving us free DLCs. I have finished the game and thought the ending was lacking now that the ending is changed I have an excuse to replay it again. I'm also excited to hear the voice acted dialogues.

Wow, it's not just implementing the engine/gameplay updates that's being done for the 2e game, it's adding a lot production content aswell: All voice overs thats huge, than changing enemies abilities and new ending.
Really well done Larian Studios, giving room to show this kind of passion.

I am especially hyped for the local split-screen experience! I have a close friend with whom we love to play games in split-screen co-op, a pretty rare feature nowadays, especially on PC (even for the games that have splitscreen for consoles).
I miss the good ol' couch experience with a friend in one living room and I am very grateful that you are bringing it for your amazing game!
Now the only thing that I would want to see improved in D:OS2 is a body type slider. I'm not big on rambo-esque mages :)

Congratulations! I am no longer a fan of reading through long conversations in games (didn't have a problem with that years ago) and never truly was a fan of turned based combat, the changes you've made, the controller support, the voice and all the other things really made me appreciate the game. Brought up nostalgia from the first Divinity game and other RPGs I've been playing long ago. Keep up the good work. Good luck with the sequel and hopefully, one day you will bring this kind of experience to real time combat games too (maybe with some options for PvP.. competition goes a long way in games). Good luck!
Rarely do I see Game Studios put their heart and soul into a game like you guys have done. To literally go through all that dialogue in the first game and voice act it after a year of release is absolutely sensational. I loved the game when it came out, hands down it is the most fun co-op RPGS out at the moment and you've just made it better. Literally convincing my friends to buy the game not just because I want to play co-op with them, but because this is a game I can honestly recommend because of the hard work Larian studios has put into this.
As a fan of the series I really do thank you for doing this, I'm eager to jump in and continue seeing what other improvements and changes you have made, and cannot wait to see what Divinity 2 has in store for us!

Thank you guys for putting so much love and efford into a game that already is great and earned numerous awards!I played all games from the Divinity-Saga, startet with Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity, followed by Ego Draconis and Dragon Commander and now Original sin.Tank you for spending so much time and effords in some of the best games of gaming history. Yes, Baldurs Gate was great, but Original sin just got so much support out of nothing and took the strengh from the other games and united them.Yes, your playerbase remarked, that you took some of the Divine Divinitys Soundtrack and the Healing- Sounds of Ego Draconis. Just love this guy and his team. they are such a great bunch of people. This is exactly why I funded both of their games and will continue to do so.

The game isn't without its flaws, but I have to say, for a studio your size, you've impressively delivered the best strategy RPG since Baldur's Gate II and you continue to improve upon the formula. Was definitely worth Kickstarting.
Thank God I was only half way through DOS now I'm going to pick the enhanced edition and play the fuck outta it. Thanks Larian and keep staying true to your fans. You have my support!

That's literally the best enhanced edition I've ever seen. I can't think of any other game that's been improved so much for their 'enhanced' versions. More than enough reason to replay the game and pour countless more hours into it. I can't wait to hear the voice acting and new combat. I literally gasped at that clip with that new boss (??) at the beginning of the video.
Now I wonder if I should play with my good or evil characters first...

Hello, Kickstarter backer here. Been sitting on the promise of a Linux version for 1 year and 4 months since D:OS' initial release. The port was promised, delayed, repromised, redelayed and then promised again for the EE with simultaneous release with the other versions. Now I learn it's getting postponed again for over a month, while console versions that weren't even talked about during the crowdfunding campaign are getting released in 6 days. Yeah... We Linux users understand that being a small percentage of the public, we don't get prioritized, but there are limits to how you can treat even your most understanding customers.
+sfrezermazin I know how you guys feel and I think that is why they want to only focus for Windows right now for D:OS 2 as the porting may be difficult for them especially it's their own made engine they are still working on. Though Larian did gave users a refund who kickstarted for those want the Linux version and I think they still do as I saw a recent tweet from Larian Studios.
I think you should still hang on in December and I hope to believe that this is the last delay for Linux, if not I just can see how heart breaking for the Linux community will be and lost interest supporting Larian Studios. Though I believe the delays is because they want to make sure the ports are very top notch and they may have a small team working on those ports. Remember this is their own engine, porting from like Unity or known engines are easier to port from.
Once it releases I am sure you'll be happy with the final product. I've also just read other Linux forums and it seems most of the community are being hateful and forget that they did apologize and still give refunds who supported the project for a Linux version for D:OS and Larian Studios still continually working on the Linux version from the delay.

Swen got so much better with English during the last couple of years. He sounds better than Peter Molyneux already.

I missed having a recipe/crafting book for the various crafting methods. Having them automatically be added after having crafted an item for the first time.
Wow i guess i am lucky to arrive late to the party! I was remembering my days of Neverwinter Nights and was googling some CRPGs and whatnot, ended up interested in Pillars of Eternity, Sword Coast Legends, and Divinity Original Sin. Well this is clearly the most polished of all, i watched videos of the three games, read some reviews, and i am sold to Divinity Original Sin, looking forward to purchase the Enhanced Edition tomorrow. :)
