Select your clip in the Playlist (red outline). Go to 'Properties'. Click on 'Colour'. 'Alpha Channel' needs to be 0. When thats updated, you will need to drag the new template clip onto the timeline and remake any of your text (it wont automatically update the timeline clips). In case your are interested... Alpha Channel = Transparency. You want to set it to 0 so that it is full transparency. The value 255 is full block colour. Whilst anything in the middle gives a % of transprency (partial transparency). Hope it helps :)

Hey, Yes you can. If you make a project and setup only the reusable elements in the playlist, you can then copy and paste the project (in file explorer) as many times as you want. This is how I do all my videos so it doesn't take AGES every time. I'll make a video on this in the next few weeks - keep an eye out!
Hello I am learning to use shotcut through your useful videos. I want to add Urdu Text...language of Pakistan..... Either I don't see it at all or see it appearing only partially I could add English text quite easily What could possibly be the issue? How could I possibly fix it?
Hello, I have 2 suggestions to try, however im not sure if either will work fully. Im guessing you are using Windows operating system? 1. If you install an Urdu font whilst on the English keyboard settings, this should enable you to type Urdu in Shotcut. Shotcut uses the Windows installed fonts, so by adding a font to Windows, that should work. However, I have no idea if Urdu and English are compatible on the same keyboard layout - so you might have some troubles typing all the characters. 2. Change your keyboard and language settings on Windows to Urdu, then open Shotcut and see what fonts it pulls through - It should pull through the Urdu as thats what you have selected at OS level. Let me know how you get on!
