    Ive been on the fence but after sitting down tonight and dedicating some time, I am sold on these. I would have LOVED to see inductive charging on these. Yet I will be in for both. This looks amazing.

    Can't wait to get this! I love gadgets that are both useful and aesthetic in design and the Omnicharge fits the bill perfectly! Per the campaign this is estimated to ship in October. I hope that schedule still stands.

      Hello I’m sadiq actually am just in love with this power station. It’s just that i couldn’t buy it because I don’t have enough money. But I’ll try and figure something out i know that there must be a way omnicharge may help.

    • @eladbari
      @eladbari 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can I ask why you chose the Pro?
      I still dont understand why most backers chose the Pro as it feels too bulky, and just gives you more juice. It's not like you cant charge a laptop or something with the basic model... [still didnt get that DC output feature that the Pro model has]...

      Direct DC charging has better efficiency over DC-AC-DC charging.

    • @eladbari
      @eladbari 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Guru Dhamal even if its 20% better [and its not. i understood it may be like..what? 5% more efficient?], then as an electricity-noob as myself- i prefer to have less efficiency than to curse Omnicharge forever for frying up my device. Even if its out of my mishandling. I dont even wanna have the option of making a bad choice in those Voltage/Watts/Amp/AC-DC settings which i have no clue about .. :]

    Hi, can i ask , what is the batteries lifecycle span? Very Very well thought and designed product btw :)!!!

    • @Omnicharge
      @Omnicharge  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Isaac, thanks for reaching out to us! Omnicharge's smart battery management system actively manages the health and life cycle of the battery cells so that each cell is optimized during its charge and discharge cycles. We have chosen Panasonic cells for its reliability and performance. Under ideal circumstances if used every day, Omnicharge will last between 2-3 years. We are currently developing a power user loyalty program that allow backers to send us their units once their battery life cycle is depleted in exchange for new Omnicharge versions at discounted prices. We will launch this program on our website www.omnicharge.co once our campaign is over.
      If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us, we love talking to our backers and answering any questions you might have.

    Question is..what will the Basic Omnicharge be good for charging?
    The pro version is too bulky, yet, its recommended for laptosp etc. so you dont wanna end up buying 1/2 half the product..
    It'll be cool to charge Canon Camera batteries on the go.... light up a xmas lights chain in the field...take your LAVAZZA coffee machine for camping [for how many cups will the basic Omnicharge survive?...etc]...

    Hi Guys,
    Amazing product, already backed up your campaign. I have a question & request though:
    Request: Can we get a demo with Omnicharge Pro as well because you have only shown Omni Standard in your all videos, as well as with any other reviewing sites such as mashable etc etc. Is there a prototype of the Pro yet?
    Question: At 2:23 of the video, you can clearly see the Omni Pro at the background while you explaining about barrel power input option on the standard. However, I can see in the background that with Omni Pro there in no charging port available i.e. the barrel port. This is main reason for the requesting a demo of the Omni Pro and this question.
    Thanks.

    Hey there.
    This looks great and I'm thinking about backing it, but I wanted to ask a question real quick first.
    Do you know roughly how long it would power a games console?
    -Playstaion 2 (Slim: 23.00 watts)
    -Playstation 1
    -Also the general current ones?
    How much longer would the larger Omicharge power a console compared to the smaller one?
    Many thanks.

    • @Omnicharge
      @Omnicharge  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sword, Thank you for reaching out to us. We appreciate the support! From what we read, the full-size PS2 consumes approximately 79 watts while the slim PS2 consumes approximately 50 watts. Regarding running time, on paper you can use following equation to calculate the estimated time: Wh / watts = hours. Our Omnicharge Pro has 73Wh and maximum output 100W and Omnicharge Standard 49Wh maximum output 65W.
      For more accurate calculation, our OLED screen will show remaining time which is calculated based on optimal level of power input of your device and Omnichagre’s battery level.
      If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us, we love talking to our backers and answering any questions you might have.

      "Wh / watts = hours" but only at 100% efficiency.... What is the efficiency of the AC conversion?

    • @Omnicharge
      @Omnicharge  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Hodge Prodge Productions our AC has 92-93% efficiency rate. Additionally, our universal charging port on Omnicharge Pro can output direct DC to charge devices such as laptops, ham radio systems or any other appliances. User can select 4 different output voltages from the menu: 9V / 12V / 15V / 20V. Hope this helps!

    • @eladbari
      @eladbari 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      this is too complicated for non-electricity-geeks.
      I sent you guys an email regarding my backing, yet didnt get a reply. I still dont understand if I need to upgrade to the PRO model for my needs or not.
      Also, I manually have to choose from the menu which output voltage to use? [9/12/15/20V?]..wow, you really gotta know that info regarding each appliance you plug in, and then manually choose that from the menu? sounds a bit elaborate..

    • @HodgePodgeProducts
      @HodgePodgeProducts 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are using DC, you'll need to select voltage. Newest prototypes are continuously variable from ~5-20V output, not just those 4 settings. However, DC output is only available for the Pro version. Otherwise, you can just charge with the AC outlet using your regular charger for whatever device you need.

    I have backed the product and am wondering the option of the usb-c option how fast wiil the omnicharge power back it's self take to charge if I choose that option compared to the original barrel plug option

    • @Omnicharge
      @Omnicharge  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jay, Omnicharge’s USB-C port supports 15W (5V@3A) INPUT and OUTPUT. The biggest drawback of USB-C port is low charging power, which will double the recharge time compared to our 34W/45W barrel type port which only takes 2 hours to fully recharge Omnicharge. Our universal barrel port not only supports high charging power up to 45W, but also allows it to take a charge from any power source whether that is through USB, a laptop power adaptor, a car charger or even ANY solar panel. Hope this can help to decide which version to go with! Best, Team Omnicharge

    can i plug a extension cord then power multiple device?

    • @Omnicharge
      @Omnicharge  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ricardo. Thanks for reaching out to us. You can plug extension cord but please note that there is wattage limit on both versions. As long as the sum of all devices plugged in doesn't exceed the limit of 100W for Omnicharge Pro and 65W for Omnicharge Standard you can plug extension cord. If you plug many devices and exceed the limit mentioned above, Omnicharge will automatically disconnect devices due to integrated safety protection system.
