I have done this journey last month. In the last day of my journey had some conversation with the 8:05 food truck owner and showed this video to her. She remembered how friendly and pleasant you guys were.

Your don't need so much bike and so much gear. I did it on a 20" (406) folding bike. Convenience stores and love motels are everywhere. All you need to carry is a spare set of clothing, tools, just enough water and snacks, and your credit card.
Early May, when the dandelions are in bloom, is the time.
Korea is beautiful and so safe.

I did it in March 2019. It was still very cold. I was rained on, snowed on and by the time I arrived in Busan, there was cherry blossom. What a wonderful memory! I'd like to do it all over again. Thanks for the video!

I did this trail but took a wrong turn and went to Chuncheon. I eventually made it back and went the correct way 2 days later. I can't wait to return and go from Seoul to Busan. Amazing time.

I'm so happy and excited to be able to revisit this amazingly beautiful cross-country bike path on video. I set out alone in the spring and took a few wrong turns, but the memory of the acacia-scented bike path is beautifully etched in my memory. I can't wait to go back in the fall.

Besides the 4 rivers that you mentioned, S. Korea has also expanded the bike paths to include other rivers and also included a bike path route that runs along the infamous DMZ I read recently. Thank you so much for posting this video.

I live in Korea. I traveled on the same course many times. I once traveled bicycle-camping.It was amazing. Korean bicycle courses were made for bicycles only.,The course is incredibly safe. It's built along the river, so the view is great. I'd recommend it if you like bike-camping.

Actually in Korea, there are many bbq restaurants that provide comfortable tables and chairs.
Seating/laying on the floor is a traditional Korean culture, though,
when you have a meal, and when you go to sleep, as you have shown in your video :)
I was happy to see such a beautiful fall season of my country thru your video. Thank you!

I have just finished my trip with my road bike. And from what I have experienced I would like to tell you that from Incheon to Chungju the roads are pretty flat and there aren't really many hills that you will encounter.
People say there are three major uphills that appear in the trip. Ihwa-ryeong(Chungju), Bakjin-gogae, and Yeong-aji-gogae(both in Hapcheon). Ihwa-ryeong is a 5km uphill with steady slope of 10% approximately. No way around. And then 6km downhill. Heard Bakjin-gogae and Yeong-aji-gogae are shorter but way steeper, so I took a way around. If you take a shortcut you are going to share the lane with cars. Still no need to worry a lot since its a secluded country lane, with only a small amount of traffic.
I highly recommend you to look for 'Kakaomap' on the appstore before starting the trip. The best navigator for south korean bike route in the market. Google map isn't useful in my country because of the security reason, and another alternative called 'Naver map' doesn't show safe enough path for the bike riders. Fact is that you won't really need your phone on for the navigator the entire time though. Just pay attention to the road sign and everything will be fine!

Many people have been mobilized to build that bike path.
Digging in the ground and carrying rocks by hand. 30,000 prisoners were mobilized and 80 were killed.
    Congratulations on their hard work.
    It's a joke.
But... the president who ordered this was sentenced to 17 years in prison.
He went to jail, but... this bike path is also his achievement.
    This is the truth.
