@@DiscernmentNow You’ve taken the scripture out of context. Jesus is referring to the Pharisees of the day. They lorded titles over people. Luke 20:46 reads, “Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets.”
They used the title in an unworthy manner; Jesus is saying not to have status or authority with one another like the Jewish Leadership would do back in those times. He’s saying that he’s the teacher! He also said don’t call anyone “Father.” And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven is your Father.
But he’s not meaning do not call anyone your Dad on earth.
So, no!! Not shame on me! John 15:12 reads, “This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.” May God richly bless you and the Holy Spirit speak to your heart. ❤️

I Love you Rabbi … I watch you at least 3 times a day. You bring so much knowledge and understanding from Yeshua’s word. I love your book it was amazing. My father was Orthodox but after I got saved and called on Yeshua for my father (Marvin) the Power of God touched him at my baptism and he got down on his knees at the altar and excepted Yeshua. My dad served the Lord for over 25 years until he graduated and went to heaven.

I was at college with Kirt when this conversion happened. One weekend he was bar hopping with us and then boom, the next weekend he was devoted to Christ just literally overnight. Then I recall the intervention attempt by some dude in a van or some such nonsense and he was taken somewhere. Never really heard from him again but I believed he had a true conversion and was committed to it, and in my mind thought it turned him around in lightning like fashion. Many doubted him because he was a wild man at Ohio State (like several of us) beforehand. But, he’s been steadfast ever since that Fall of ‘78 if I recall correctly.

I loved his testimony, but I do think like paul wrote to the Colossians, we need to not think we are more spiritual when we get back into Jewish things that are not mentioned in the New Testament. I love the OT and the NT,. We discipled a Jewish guy who got saved, and he didn't even know what it meant to be a Jew when it came to Christianity. Needless to say he was not a religious Jew, but he is a great believer, now.

Many Pastors are well studied in Bible history, but to have lived in Jewish tradition is entirely different when interpreting Jewish life; greater depth comes through when interpreting scriptures. With all due respect to the people who've devoted their lives to "the science of deprogramming", it simply reveals how weak their own mindsets are that a teaching like hare krishna that we can study and parse without any trouble is, to them, so dangerous as to render them helpless even to assist a small child...? I’ve watched Rabbi Schneider for many years. Maybe when he first started on tv. I knew he was a special man of God when I saw him the very first time. Light just shone thru him. Love emanates from him. I find myself smiling as I listen to him talk and not too many people can do that. I knew he was a special man immediately but never have I seen such pure love, aside from Yeshua/Jesus, in an earthly vessel as I saw one time on one of his videos. He was ministering to a young black girl in another country and he delivered her of a demon or demons but he did it so gently and so lovingly and ALL of the focus was on Yeshua, love and this young woman. Aside from Jesus Himself I have never been so moved by anyone. It was so precious.
Anyway I’ll have to get this book. I’ve heard some of his testimony but not all so that will be a good read. Looking forward to it.
He's here to teach us more about the Old Testament & the New Testament! He loves Jesus. We need to be ready!
What I love about Rabbi is that he the real deal. From the very first time I saw Rabbi on TV about 10 to 12 years ago, in my spirit, I felt the truth in his preaching. Actually, I boasted he has contributed to my knowledge in really learning about my Christian belief and upbringing. I even considered of becoming a member of his congregation. In New York, I am still looking where I can find Discovering The Jewish Jesus place of Worship. I do partner with them.
