Great advice - I did exactly as Lola suggested in regards to finding the right salon and not overspending on the salon. The only thing I would like to add is to do research about the area where you want to open your salon and don’t rush. It takes time to find the right location. Also, write a business plan to use as a guide to success. It took me about 3 years to find the right location and once I found it, I waited one year to build up some capital before I remodeled and bought new furniture and equipment.
