I love your content! Straight to the point & easy to follow. Opening my first salon in April. You bring so much ease to something that is so overwhelming to me. Thank you!!
That is SO nice to hear Candace! Seriously it makes me smile that my content can be helpful for you. That's so exciting about opening up your first salon in April! Congratulations, I'm sure it'll be a huge year for you! 💕
If you're in the USA, then try to find a mentor through SCORE (Service Corp of Retired Executives). They're a network of retirees through the Small Business Administration and public libraries. Someone can walk you through each step. Don't give up. It's definitely overwhelming when you go it alone.
On the website. For myself I'm not a stylist, I'm a plumber! Do you think I should have an "about" section on the site? I was thinking more to have each stylist have their own section on the site.
Great question! Email is still super relevant in 2023. But Whatsapp is becoming popular too! Why not ask your clients which place they prefer to get reminders and focus on that?
Hi guys, Another great video full of very useful tips from @Sunnystorm Marketing. I have two extra tips, hope Stephanie doesn't mind. 1) invest in your visuals and photography campaigns. When hiring a photographer, make sure he is a Real State specialist or Architectural photographer. Shooting can be done in an hour, but he/she needs loads of time and expertise to polish those images and give them that commercial fashion allure that will advantage your brand. A real professional in this field wil cost a lot more than $800 for ten images aside from the yearly commercial licensing. But it will be worth it!. 2) Salon interior is expensive, but no matter how luxurious and refined it is, it will not serve you if you go cheap with your team, hairdressers, and stylist. It is the most important and valuable investment in the beauty business "Unhappy hairdresser = Unhappy customers." Pay them well, really well!.
