What a gorgeous example. It won’t take much to make her perfect. Like I said in the other video, I’m super jealous of whoever gets to drive this one. Wow.

Man you would be surprised how much it takes to make these cars really nice again. At a minimum I'll spend $10,000 on this car. However once it's done it will be outstanding.

@@woodsandbarclay Well, I own a c126, which was sold to me as "mint." Ha! We also share mutual friends in Pierre and Jesse, so I have the inside word. ;-)

This channel is an awesome find, I expect I'll be fallowing along to some extent with some of the stuff you do to this one. I now own what is effectively a molested 94 E320, and I'm attempting to restore it back to roadworthy condition.
The car is in rough shape, but also not rough shape, largely it is very clean, no rust, the interior is great, and the engine is healthy, but it had a near completely dead transmission. Anyways transmission was step 1, and I had a specialty shop take care of that, so now I'm onto replacing bad bushings, especially in the steering components, replacing rubber lines all over, replacing both bumpers, finding belly pans, and then solving a battery drain, which so far has been completely elusive. It's going to be a lot of work, but I think these cars are worth the effort.

Man these cars are in no way perfect and I spend hundreds of hours and tens of thousands of dollars trying to make them perfect. The trick is to buy a car with nice interior and nice paint and then all the money goes into mechanical restoration. You should go on the website and click on the car and look at all the stuff we are doing to it.
