Im from fort wayne. Its not what it used to be when i was a kid. Times were fun back then. Now its not that fun anymore because im an adult now and i live in another state (houston texas) living my own life. I dont know what the housing situation looks like now in fort wayne but im sure its cheap. Places might be affordable.
I work from home, home school last two kids, moved from Cali, live in Indianapolis, but like smaller towns. Is this a good place for kids? Fun things to do? Pretty safe? My lease will be up soon, I like the homes for sale there. Was thinking about renting there to explore before buying. This helps.
It's great for kids. My daughter is thriving here. Renting is a popular option at first. I have a relocation guide if you want to take a look. My contact information is in the description.
That’s difficult to answer. Lots of options. There are safe places all over town. Skyline plaza has apartments downtown. Renting for about 1,200 for a small 1 bed. Or you could find a small house, same price, in an older home with a yard in an area that I would consider “mid”. There are expensive condos downtown, that run the same price as a home rental in the suburbs. And you still have regular apartments like Canterbury green. Many many options. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. I don’t have enough information to answer confidently
@@iAm.k3y which barbershop do you work at? There is a Fort Wayne Beauty & Barber expo hosted by Laced on Saint Joe. The event will be held at Electric Works September 22

Hi, new to your channel just out curiosity you said you received a job offer in Fort Wayne . What kind of job offer do you received? Trying to relocate from California and curious out about jobs market in the Fort Wayne area.
stop moving here, or if you do move here don't be willing to pay 1200 for a one bedroom apartment you are letting the landlords price most people out of being able to get a place to live. most jobs here pay a take home of 2k a month or less.
The vast majority of people moving to Fort Wayne are from the surrounding smaller cities, Ligonier, Mishawaka, Kendallville, etc. I agree that renting is a dead end for anyone anywhere. If each apartment is paying 1,200 a month, how much do you think the owner is making annually? Fortunately, owning a 2 bed 1 bath home would cost you the same amount. 170,000, @ 7.586 % is $1,199 dollar mortgage. I just listed a house on Maurane, near Jefferson Pointe, on half an acre that 2/1 900 sq ft. With IHCDA downpayment assistance you can buy a similar home with no money down. We'd love to help if you're interested in getting away from your landlord.
Also Amtrak at waterloo, is only 20 miles north of fort wayne. You can book train east or west coast.
The food in Fort Wayne is so underrated! So many good places!
Ive been hearing about fort wayne tacos for over a year and im in the desert southwest where tacos are a serious thing.
Glenbrook Square isn’t on the SW side of Fort Wayne, it’s on the north side.
Yeah I heard that and I was like…”Crap!” I meant Jefferson Pointe.

This sounds offensive. Seeking to understand. Why is the age of significance? Why call him boy? Why miss spelled Dave Ramsey? TIA

Hi, new to your channel just out curiosity you said you received a job offer in Fort Wayne .
What kind of job offer do you received?
Trying to relocate from California and curious out about jobs market in the Fort Wayne area.
It was a federal job. Fort Wayne was 1 of 10 cities I could choose from.
Thank you.
Im taking my wife to Fort Wayne in mid-April. What areas should I take her to sell her on it?
What's most important to her? What is her ideal lifestyle? We don't sell we tell...tell her where she can find what she values

Coliseum does not turn into Stellhorn.
Oh yeah, good point, I usually drive down Coliseum and “Turn into” Stellhorn. Cresant literally becomes Stellhorn.
Oh my goodness this guy has no idea what he’s talking about. There is NO Lou Malnati’s in Fort Wayne. Do you mean Giordano’s?????????? 🤦♀️
I did, I misspoke. By the way “The Wire” great show
How old are you boy? Dave Ramseyyy
He’s clearly a grown man! What does Dave Ramsey have to do with this video?
Why are you calling him boy, doesn't matter the reference?
Are there racists there?
Speaking from my own experiences as a minority, discrimination hasn't been something I've encountered or witnessed
@@LivingInFortWayne I have lived all over and when I lived in Ft Wayne I never saw discrimination or racism but racism is everywhere.
Only if you move there.
Joke of a city.
The entire city or something specific?
