Was trying to unplug the Air Flow sensor for the first time, but unsuccessful even with the pick, probably a bit worry of breaking the cables.
Guess I should try harder next time.

All the 220 cdi after 2005 are inproved in a couple of ways . If you live in a area where rust is a problem , I would invest in a newer model from 2009 - 2010 up
