At least some power tools were used off-camera, look at the piece of wood when he's making planks, you can see the round scorch marks left from a circular saw.

The clay funnel he built to direct rain water coming down off that cliff above into his fireplace was simply genius! The fire place serves a dual purpose. Fire place when it’s dry… clothes washer when it’s raining. A cave with running water sometimes. Brilliant! I would have never thought of that.

But my favorite part was when he ate that stupid little "pizza" , he took that first bite XD then he didn't show him eating it afterwards, I bet it tasted like shit!! XD

I. hope it lasts for as long as you go there. Your skill and hard work have made it a treasure. There is also a lot of gray clay. I wonder if building a fire in it will harden it at all. Ah, so it is completely clay and sand. You're not just a designer and builder, you're also a decorator. Love your plates, and your taro pizza. You are awesome!
Given how hard that clay is despite the amount of precipitation around, you could flood it for a week straight and I doubt it would change much if at all.
It is still clay after all, unfired clay that is. He could easily plaster it and bake it with a bonfire. Hill around it might erode eventually but the hole would stay.

Yeah I especially liked the naturally sourced home depot lumber he used to build the forms. I mean he spent all of 2 hours trying to cut and square a log with a handsaw but secretly switched to a circular saw(you can see the saw friction burns) than gave up entirely and than used store bought lumber where you could clearly see the milled lines in the wood. I doubt that any amish man could have made such perfectly squared pressure treated pine board from a non pine species like this kid did.

The rough sawn wooden planks seem to be able to plane themselves smooth, just by leaving them on the floor, cool.
