Epic Spanish Mackerel Fishing with some Shark Action!

- Josh met up with Corey from Tackle Crafters to go fishing for Spanish Mackerel and sharks off the coast of Florida. There were thousands of mackerel under the boat, it was amazing! Once we figured out how the fish were feeding, it was game on! Josh managed to catch several species of sharks as well.

I got six Spanish mackerel keepers on Monday it was so fun

Shark fishing is the most intense adrenaline rush out of all the sports my favorite is shark hunting, cant wait to catch a giant shark as soon as i get to Florida man.
You know what that means, shark time!! I love this guys passion for fishing i also have a big passion for fishing, so much im moving to Florida from Arizona for a few months just to go fishing. I hope to look like this guy soon fishing for giant sharks aint nothing better than shark fishing. You should do it too people not just dream about it while watching this video. Once I caught a 7 pound 9 ounce Thornback ray which is quite good.
It's amazing to me how spanish can swipe that plug (or any lure with treble hooks) and escape those treble hooks

Foul hooked a good one trolling on a dinner cruise boat. I was supposed to keep fishing low key so couldnt ask to slow the boat down, felt like I was pulling a boulder in off the bottom. One spanish mack and my arms were cooked.
I caught 7 last Sunday at the Sanibel Island lighthouse pier. All I used was a 5 ounce silver spoon.

In Australia we get a mackerel called a Spanish mackerel but it is a much larger and different species.

Hey i live in sarasota florida, i fish when i can dont have a boat or anything it would be freakin awesome to catch some mackerel i love spanish.
u should try European feather lures we use them for sea fishing in ireland they will catch anything and in schools you could get a 6 feather hook up
