The Bend in the River is one of my favorite episodes in the A-Team’s third season. It is also Marla Heasley’s final episode as Tawnia Baker. I have always adore her since the season two episode The Battle of Bel Air. Lots of love for Tawnia Baker ❤️🥰❤️
Don't mess with the ateam always a classic to watch on TV or my cell phone to the actors and actresses who passed away my thoughts are with your family you may be gone but not forgotten still going one of TV best shows ever god bless you guys thanks you guys rock way to go appreciate the memories you should be amazed and proud way to go ❤😂😂 Joe
George Peppard had frequent run-ins with the producers over this issue. The women were popular with young male viewers. Peppard considered them a nuisance on the set. Melinda Culea complained about not being given relevant screentime or much to do in the story. Amy was written off and replaced with Tania, a similar character but a different actress. A compromise was to allow them on the set but not give them billing as regular members of the cast. By the end of the fourth season the producers gave up and wrote off Tania too
According to Dwight (Murdock) and Dirk (Face) it was more the producers who had issues with females as part of the team in every episode, the guys liked Melinda (Amy) and wanted her to stay but she kept pushing for her character to do more stuff like the guys, mind you that's saying a reporter can match 4 combat trained veterans. Dirk actually spoke about how tptb wanted females in as little as possible and George wasn't having it, like the river boat captains daughter, he sent her back to her trailer to actually look like a river boat captains daughter. They also said that the ladies would come on set nervous and afraid because of their reputation, but by the end of filming, they didn't want to leave. Not defending George, he had a huge ego and difficult to work with, just commenting on what the guys have said. Don't know anything about the tanya situation. I personally wasn't a fan.
I believe George and Melinda didn't get along from the get go but before too long Melinda wanted a pay increase and more screen time doing what the guys did, firing weapons/fighting etc so they got rid of her. Marla was brought in and again George didn't like her, even told her first day on set that he didn't want her there, producers originally wanted a female but George was against the idea and in the end he got his wish so Tawina was also written out. Apparently in season 4's the Sound of Thunder Tia Carrea was also going to be wrote into the series as a regular but she had commitments elsewhere
I’ve always loved and respected Melinda Culea as Amy Allen, and Marla Heasley as Tawnia Baker. They both did a great job in the series. Lots of love for Amy Allen and Tawnia Baker ❤️🥰❤️

Wow. Hawke spent ages looking for his brother St John and all he needed to do was to hire the A-Team

How about using some punctuation?

I was thinking, how are they going to do the standard vehicle flip in the middle of the jungle? They came through!! 😆
Back when I was a kid, we all played a-team, I was Murdock.😮
Was that Mick Jagger,🎉
That was the guy who played Papagallo in the Road Warrior!
George Peppard was jealous of Mr. T when they went around America it was all Mr. T. I think he was hard actor to work with
If George Peppard was so not for having a female on the team, why did Tanya come in? Why did they have to replace Amy? She was so awesome. 😢😢
