Wow, these are so pretty. 😍 Another great way to adhere vellum is to apply a thin layer of liquid glue with a sponge over the entire surface of the vellum. Works like a charm...
Thank you. Nice to see the same stamp in different powders. Would be nice to see them all with a darker colored paper behind them to see how it changes the effect. Very cool demo. Ty again.
As someone who discovered stamping 27 years ago, I have a collection of many different embossing powders. Colors, textures and some glittery. I have eventually realized I only use certain ones regularly. Also just decluttered and checked each of my older ones. Some did have a shelf life. The ones I use regularly ranger ultra fine clear, white and black. Also use gold and silver. The other colors I don't use anymore. If I want a certain color, I stamp with a color ink and use clear to emboss. Your cards are beautiful. I have that stamp. It is very versatile. And stamps beautiful. If you have Simon's sponge block, try this stamp with it. It's a cute look.
Lovely cards!! I really love the gold, but ask are beautiful! I looked to see which daisy BG that was, but I have one very similar from SSS that I love. It could be the same, not sure. Great tip on stamping with colored ink & clear embossing. I've been doing that for many years. With vellum, you can even stamp with a juicy dye ink pad & emboss if your quick about it. Really beautiful cards! & I've been meaning to try some of the satin pearl EP, but it always gets pushed back when I order, but you really showed it to a great advantage by doing white also. I'm thinking I need to quit pushing it off my order & get it now!
Very nice cards. I like to create something simple, yet elegant, for sympathy cards, so the white or pearl sample card is perfect for me. There is something uplifting about the two white cards. The gold card is WOW for a happier occasion, although the white versions would also work with something like the embellishments you used. Again, thank you so much.
I love vellum - it always adds sophistication to cards when you apply it. And the four embossing powders you used really brought it up a notch! Janet 🤗👍💕
Wow, I didn't realize modern vellum is made from plasticized fibers, that explains some of my most prominent failures with that material ... Learn something every time a watch one of your videos!
If you haven’t yet found a glue to use with vellum, I use the Tombow AQUA liquid glue. I put a little dab on my finger, then onto the back of the vellum. Totally invisible when dry ❤️🇦🇺
I'm still learning to heat emboss, and after reading the comments section on this video I'm realizing the problem I'm having may be my powder is too old! Thank you for this video showing the different looks heat embossing powder can give to one stamp. I think I will have to treat myself to some of that satin pearl color powder now... :)
Stunning cards Natasha and yes so quick and easy to do. Great video and sound advice about embossing powders. Thank again for sharing your videos Natasha
Beautiful. I wasn’t sure I liked the gold at first, but when you added it to the white card I decided it was my favorite! They all looked great though.
Absolutely stunning! I love each and every one one your videos and you are my go to crafter for inspiration. You must have read my mind…because I was wondering what you were using on your stamp platform and before I knew it, you mentioned that you included the link. I was jumping for joy! Thank you!!!! ❤️🇨🇦
Love these cards! Amazing what you can do with just a couple of items. I thought I had followed your advice about which embossing powders to have in your stash, and then I found a little box my sister had given me years ago, and it has about ten different colours of powder in it. Bonus ;O)
Yeah for once I'm ahead of the game - I have that embossing vellum! And thanks for the link to the sticky mat. I've been looking for it - and getting confused about what's on the market
Also,if you are new to using vellum or new to heat embossing, occassionally when using versafine black ink & clear powder, the ink can change to a weird blue type colour,i think its to do with acids in it x
Another incredible card idea! Also you said you were going to show us other ideas for the bookmark dies, do you have any Christmas designs for those dies?
These are gorgeous. Was recently gifted about 6 large jars of large embossing powder. Gorgeous colours from a Tasmanian company. I would be happy to gift you a little bag of each colour. Any ideas on creative ways to use Natasha.
