Subaru Alternator replacement ALL EJ series

Here we have a video of how to remove and then reinstall the alternator.
This video is applicable for almost ALL EJ series Subaru Motors.
Some steps may differ from single belt motors. The ones with a serpentine belt instead of dual belt motors.
Steps for removal and reinstall of alternator are the same. just the belt tensioner will be different. Actually easier in the single belt models.

Always remember to disconnect the battery when conducting any of these types of electrical repairs. Shorting the battery in any vehicle will more than likely cause damage and multiple failures in electrical system.
