@@jhonatansantana5701 id say a fitting unique god for Set is Serapis, since Set is the God of Foreigners and Serapis was a Egyptian God introduced by the Greeks
This was a solid match. Withdrawing from waters and immediately rushing for land was a great call. Building right near the enemy base was risky but genius combined with the push -> heal -> push cycle which was something else on its own.
The thing about water is that it gathers food from fishing at half the rate of a villager hunting... It might have seemed like KjeeL was at a disadvantage after loosing the water but he immediately build a second tc and his adversary had overcommited allowing KjeeL time to get the eco advantage. What I got from this is that if you only have one tc and you just won the water, you have to rush the land too, don't give him the time to recover his economy.
If that is the case. That is great. Since in aoe4 if you lose the water, you lose the game. Fishing should be 100% optional and not mandatory in water maps.
I gather that's the latinization of the original "Skilla". Similar to how cynicism is a latinized pronunciation derived from kynos. This word in turn relates to canid (dog like) pronounced with the original "k" sound. I don't think Sila is wrong though. What Yod has been saying and there's no way its right is Cilia, which means hair or filament, usually attributed to microorganisms.
Honestly the dps is fine it never was supposed to be an offensive spell, its main use is to deny the enemy save acces to wood or open up a wood line that is used as defensive wall, problem is there are many medium sized woodlines on the map so that destroying one isnt that of an advantage anymore, maps looks much better so than in Titans , but still a huge nerf, the only exception yet is Oasis, in titans forest fire had a max range, so i think. Forest fire should theoretically be more important in wood / water games... if there is an island map...
I don't know if controlling the water is supposed to help in any way. All it does for you is getting food from fishing. But you can get food from other means with minimal investment. Instead, if you wanna commit to water, you have to spend so much resources for shipyards and ships, and then if you win the water, all those resources are wasted on things that are completely imprisoned in water. The ships or water monsters can't just exit the water and walk on land. They are just dead weights in there. Also, they block population. The best the ships could do is to shoot some buildings on shore. But they almost never reach anything important. Opponent will simple build a bit far away. I think water realistically matters only on island maps where your base is on a different landmass than your opponents. Or on maps where all settlements, including the starting town centers, are in range from potential navy. But if that's not the case, then building a navy kinda feels like building 10 towers in a desert in a corner somewhere, not guarding anything. Just immobile waste with no strategic value.
yeah im absolute in for mor unique god paths ... there would have been more minor gods and units beeing to created so and in origin theyve already didnt manage to balance that well , biggest issue for that is to make more unique units but yeah with a new retold attempt and hopefully refunds they might do
naval combat should be different from land combat in that it should be slower. you should be rewarded to positioning and flanking rather than ships just instantly turning on a dime. seems like a missed opportunity to make it unique and not just ground combat but in the water lol
About the question why Zeus is the only one that can pick Hera because Hera is Zeus' wife, by mythology, Hera is queen of gods, Zeus king, thats why only Zeus can pick Hera. Since Hera is Zeus' wife, she grants you storm GP (i imagine Zeus is the god of heaven and lightning bolt, someone angers Hera, Zeus goes bananas on the enemy with bolt storm) About Loki, idk, Hel goddess of underworld, i'd guess because Loki is god of deception and all gods of Norse mythology go to "heaven" (Valhalla), but since Loki is deceptive god, he uses other means which are unworthy of Valhalla

No, for all unit on unit healing in this game: Heal factor reduces if the unit being healed is moving or making any action. If the unit being healed is in stand position it will heal faster.

Nope. It is pronounced Skela (Σκύλλα) in Greek, with a k and e sound

Its skilla and karibdis if we remain loyal to actual greek. Sylla works too.
Loki and Zeus are both very aggressive gods with pretty much one main strategy, thats why they both have their unique minor gods.

It's fine imo. Keep in mind you get the entire Freya package alongside forest fire. Valkyries more than make up for a bit of a weaker god power.
Just call it Nessi (like the monster of Loch Ness)

Hades 2 has a boss called Scylla, just listen to how they pronounce it and if they tell you it's wrong tell them to take it up with Supergiant games.
