Did you ever get this dryer fixed? Mine is making the same noise.
Gary Archibald yes, it was fixed under warranty, but it's making a similar noise now. the repairman said he's fixed a bunch of Samsung Dryers with the same problem.
Did he happen to mention what is was. Mine is out of warranty so I will have to fix it myself. Thanks
Idler pully or rollers, most likely. All fairly cheap online or in a local parts store. Videos online will show how to replace them.
It was a roller, but I can't remember what the repairman called it. I watched him do most of the repair, and it didn't look all that hard to do.
