Only people outside punjab or with no knowledge are cheering him. This "Super Cop" was accused and was convicted for sexual harassment by The Supreme Court of India. This guy is the reason why lakhs of Sikh youth ( and Hindu Youth) was killed in Punjab. He was the one who show people dead in record and than use them to kill Sikhs-Hindus to make it look as "terrorist attacks". The former DIG Saini found one such guy who was alive and was in Jail under other criminal act and was shown dead in records, when ask this guy shameless (in press conference) said "these kind of tactics are normal". So many SHOs- ASIs- Police officers of that time are still openly giving interviews (you can check them on youtube) that how they use to pickup school n college going youth and fake encounters were done (no bodies were found or found in bad shape as its was comman practice to through them in rivers and our grandfather and grandmothers still tell us stories of that time). How Womens were raped in police custody or by police (you can check cases and stories of women who survived that era) how common men were picked out from houses and torture to death with putting rods in body, hot irons on body and what not (for reference you can read a book on 1984 genocide or else you can get 100s on google by just searching). How fake Sikhs with help of police to attack Hindus so that power stays in hands of Police. How Human Right Activist Adv. Jaswant Singh Khalra, who with years of research found out clothes and pics (as its a law to save clothes and click picks of unknown dead bodies before burning them) of nearly 25000 illegal killings by police including 2000 policemen out of them by Police itself ( its his research work and it was than put in front of UN and the Supreme Court of India.) When inquiry was made Punjab Police and Authorities openly said that they wont take part in it. When case was highlighted Adv. Khalra Ji was picked up by police from home in morning (whole village witnessed this and FIR was made after 24 hours), when asked police said they don't know anything but Officer Pinky (thn ASI , still alive) openly accepted that he say Adv Khalra tied up at Farm House of DIG Gill, later on body of Adv. Jaswant Singh Khalra was never found and The Honble Supreme Court of India gave Life imprisonment to 5 Officers in that case (DSP,SHO, 2ASIs and one head constable) the accused SSP died by suicide and charges were never made against him. But whole Punjab know truth that under whose guidance Khalra Ji was murdered. The story continues, the media and Govt. (just like they do it now) make that man a hero and changed narrative of people out side Punjab. People who lived through that era knows the truth. He was Butcher and most corrupt officer.

He was the worst cop (also known as Butcher KPS Gill). Killed thousands of innocent sikhs in punjab and showed them as real encounter in the next morning newspapers like he was doing some good work. Police use to pick up sikhs from their home and take them to jail, torture them, ask ransom to release them from their family but in most cases use to kills them in the fields with tied hands.
Look, I don't support everything the police or CRPF did. But separate punjab isn't the solution. How will it help your problems? If we all sit together and have peace talks about how we can make punjab better with India. It can better help with your problems than making separate country that wouldn't successfully work or solve your problems. Those anti- national sikhs only take advantage of the choas or vulnerabilities in Punjab to thier advantage of separate country rather than having your backs.
