It's still worth a warning, right? I believe the person next to her any day of the week. She herself said that she never witnessed anything out of line. Someone else wants her seat extremely bad enough, to do this. I WOULD GO TO COURT!!
Bans can be removed, we did it in cleveland for the kid that ran onto the court to hug lebron begging him to come home. Took 5 years but it was removed. Hopefully they can do the same, if need be move her seats a little.
You don't know the full story. I work security for the Nuggets... Most of us love Vicky. However she started to feel a little entitled because she was there for so long. She tried to give a kiss on the check, and hug to several people that didn't feel comfortable with it (players and staff). She was warned repeatedly about this and would not stop. She was never aggressive and always polite but she broke the 'no contact' rule and she was given a lot of warnings. Even in this video can you see her trying to hug and kiss people. It may be harsh, but she had a lot of warning and chances to stop. It's a sad situation for everyone.
Yes, you can see in the video she’s getting too touchy feely with the players and refs. Some of them also look uncomfortable and are trying to somewhat avoid her. I just think she’s tone deaf to all of it.
It makes sense. Why would the Nuggets kick out an old lady (and risk the bad PR) unless they had a valid reason? I've dealt with customers like this when I worked at restaurants. Regular customers who spend a lot of time/money at an establishment start to feel entitled and think its okay to be overly familiar with staff even when the staff are clearly uncomfortable. They think spending a lot of time and money there means they get to break the rules and make ridiculous demands. Even if the customer is harmless overall and doesn't mean any harm, its a headache for the staff and it makes everyone's jobs harder. If the regular customer was banned, you KNOW they either did something egregious or ignored multiple requests to stop a behavior that was disruptive
This is such a strange story. I don’t think she did anything to really warrant a ban. I’d love to see the photos/footage of supposed bad behaviour from her.
I think perhaps reloction and a written warning that she is not to make any effort to interact with a player or referee should have occured before an outright lose of seats and bannishment. If that wasnt satisfactory to her then its on her. I think at this point since she decided to involve the local media, the owners should release the evidence for transparency purposes.
The fact this woman was even willing to consistently spend her hard earned money on tickets for 3 decades & be banned with little explanation from an arena is beyond common sensical. The owners can't sit there & act as though there are no cameras within the arena to show the supposed violations that feature unwanted contact. Based on the footage I've seen thus far, every referee & player didn't seem bothered by her approach.
Why aren't the players speaking up ? Also to sell her seats for more makes no sense what shes saying. There is rent control when it comes to season tickets. They can raise them to whatever they want and give u the option of renewing or not
They should have moved her at the END of the season to a different location. When the Bullets became the Wizards, Robin Ficker who sat behind the opponents bench and heckeled and heckeld opponents to no end. Barkley hired Ficker for the Finals vs. The Bulls. I digress. The team moved from US Air Arena in Landover to MCI in DC and his seats were mysteriously moved to the otherside of the arena and off the floor. Ooops. Ficker gave up the seats.
Part of me thinks that it was the NBA, and not the Nuggets that mandated this because in this day and age, you simply cannot make ANY contact with anyone without a concern of some random lawsuit claiming you did something you didn't do. It would make sense that the NBA and/or the Nuggets wanted to put a stop to that immediately despite how harmless it may have been.
I was about to buy season tickets from the Denver Nuggets but now I’m not going to if they treat you like that I can stay home and watch them on The Altitude Channel heartbreaking 💔
2:50 If the attorney says he hasn't looked at the evidence so impactful to his 72 year old client's life either he is a horrible, horrible attorney...or the evidence is damning.
Or the attorney has other cases closer to a court date to prep for. You don't get an attorney's immediate attention for a civil case where there's time to react and nobody is sitting in jail.
Shouldn't contact be on the person passing her?? I think she's right!! You just want to sell her tickets for more to someone else!! I will NEVER SET A FOOT IN THAT ARENA AGAIN!!
Here at the Witch Coven of Cincinnati we have placed an official curse on the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets will never win another championship again until Vicki is unbanned and allowed her old season tickets back. If this never happens the nuggets will have 200 years of no championship’s starting from the day she passes.
I can see her thinking she can touch and “love on” the players when they don’t want her too. She may think because she as been there for so long that she is entitled and invested
I saw an earlier video on this and I was behind her. I thought it was ridiculous that the Nuggets didn’t give her attorney proof of the violations. But I’m there were some tells in this that she did violate some incidents. 1. The Nuggets gave the evidence they had to the attorney but the attorney said he hasn’t had time to look at them?? What the attorney is really saying is that it doesn’t look good but they need to come up with an excuse, argument or settlement (she’s allowed back at games.) I also think the Nuggets don’t want to air the evidence publicly because they will make this woman look bad. I just hope she is able to apologize and is able to get her seats back. I mean, how much harm can a little 70 year old woman make??
@@kirkfortin2103 Thank you! I also don’t believe they banned her so they could profit off her season tickets. If that were the case, why is she the only one that lost her privileges? I just wish I had proofread prior to hitting the send button 🤦♀😭

If you are not looking closely, she is contacting players. Some of them look uncomfortable doing so. I understand the decision is harsh, but in the comments I saw a nuggets security staff comment she felt entitled to those seats because of her 32 years of loyalty. In my opinion I would have offered her seats in a different location, but if she wouldn’t have cooperated I would probably agree with the stadium & Nuggets decision. I get she means well but if any other person were to try and hug an NBA player or pat him on the back, they would probably be banned from the stadium as well. Hope they find a way to mediate the situation.
You are aware lawyers have multiple if not dozens of client cases going on at any given time and if they just got sent the information they probably have not had any time yet to view it before responding. My lawyer had 40 clients all going at the same time and it took him forever to get anything done
Her attorney’s reaction is what EVERY attorney’s reaction should be when they haven’t reviewed the evidence yet or decided on the next move. Some of these comments crack me up…people think that the practice of law plays out like on tv. They have no clue at all about the “real” world or work of law.
Kroenke better have some actual proof that isn't just 'circumstantial' or 'open to interpretation.' Sounds more like they wanted an excuse to get rid of her and get her season seat to resell it for a higher value. Gutless bastards.
ALL THOSE YEARS OF LOYALTY and the players and team can't just protest during a game by standing there and choosing not to play? Now THAT would make waves. I would love to see past players show up and they all stand in unity with the current players on the court and refuse to play until Vicki's ban is lifted. The fans would be mad also and would take to social media. After all this dedication to the team, why is this not happening for her?
I am sure the players find her annoying and feel obligated to hug her or greet her, they might have said something to the management who might have said something to her and she ignored them and continued on doing it
I don’t blame the players or coaches. I blame upper management for doing this. They still haven’t willing to show to the public the photos and videos of proof of the alleged incident. I’m a nuggets fan but this is a huge black eye on this organization when she was the one fan that would be there for that team when they were horrible. U just saw some.of it. She was warned to stop making contact with players... refs. She continued on basically saying, "F ya rules! I'm a superfan, you can't do anything to me!" Her sense of entitlement got.her shown the door.
@@scarney29 The same one you clearly skimmed through. My explanation on her personal reasoning may be extreme, but the end result was she was told to chill multiple times, but she didn't stop.
Somebody needs to take an UNO reverse card and ban the person that banned her. She did nothing. If she did somehow do something it was probably an accident
Be nice if the players came together and spoke on her behalf to try to right this wrong. Doing this to their biggest fan, and an old lady at that, is a really bad look.
The team provided her lawyer the photos of why she was banned…but the lawyer stated he had not looked at the photos, really? Once the lawyer had the photos and if there was nothing there, I am sure he would provide the photos to the local media stations to make the Nuggets look 👀 bad. If the team warned her about her behavior and she didn’t change, the team has a right to ban her. Since the media is covering the story, I think the team should release the information on why it banned her since she took the story to the media.
Imma call it, until we see actual evidence of her supposed "inappropriate" behavior, someone decided to trump up some garbage on her to resell her seats.
The players should speak up, and the ownership group needs to sit down with her and set some very serious expectations -- but they need to let this lady watch her team.
Those tickets are nearly impossible to get unless you can wrongfully conspire to steal them and make the most loyal and loving fan into someone bad. Nuggets have a jealous Karen on staff and thought they would make some money stealing her tickets and try and make her into something else. I feel bad for her. You can tell she devoted her entire life and hundreds of thousands of $ in becoming a super fan. Shame on those people. Shame.

@@peterp2153that's what i thought as well I'm an introvert and she is going beyond the regular fan experience to the point where i would feel uncomfortable someone is over stepping their boundaries.
The no more Staying late after games was a red flag for me to. Why do you even have to ask that to someone else someone is over stepping their boundaries.
But honesty and transparency could have saved the situation
They could have told her the truth asked her to move give her great Perks Discounts and if she refused let her know they are standing by their players and staff and if it goes public people see that they tried to be responsible and very reasonable instead you get this story.
She's 72yrs old. @@peterp2153
Internet story axiom:
There's always more to the story.
I really felt for the old lady, but now I just feel like I supported someone who crosses personal boundaries....after being warned 😅
Internet is crazy.
😂 what a bunch of snowflakes.
@@jonjaimeYou wouldn't know the meaning of that word if they taught it to you with a Sesame Street episode.
@@blakfloyd okay snowflake
Stan Kronke should never be in a position to judge inappropriate behavior. He is the poster child.
Looking bad for the nuggets ...

They said she hit someone bro, don't do Ficker like that
Part of me thinks that it was the NBA, and not the Nuggets that mandated this because in this day and age, you simply cannot make ANY contact with anyone without a concern of some random lawsuit claiming you did something you didn't do. It would make sense that the NBA and/or the Nuggets wanted to put a stop to that immediately despite how harmless it may have been.
It sounds like she may have been getting a little too comfortable. Boundaries have to be enforced.
They don't ban players for life for it tho. So it's not a boundary if it's one way. It's just a membrane
I was about to buy season tickets from the Denver Nuggets but now I’m not going to if they treat you like that I can stay home and watch them on The Altitude Channel heartbreaking 💔
cool story
It’s always about the money and always will be in this country.
You should be able to disengage from being a fan when you realize there is no reason to have an attachment to something you have no control over
2:50 If the attorney says he hasn't looked at the evidence so impactful to his 72 year old client's life either he is a horrible, horrible attorney...or the evidence is damning.
I said the same thing it must be too much evidence to keep the fan away so the attorney said umm 😂
OR he’s a wicked good lawyer who knows to keep his mouth shut until negotiations begin or a civil case is filed?
I think there's too much video they probably receive and they want to make sure it's legit not some crappy videos

If this never happens the nuggets will have 200 years of no championship’s starting from the day she passes.

They lied about her to steal her tickets. We are boycotting the team and arena. Pass it on.
I can see her thinking she can touch and “love on” the players when they don’t want her too. She may think because she as been there for so long that she is entitled and invested
Stan Kroenke owned arena? Thats all I need to know

I mean, how much harm can a little 70 year old woman make??
this is for sure one of the most well thought comments on this topic i have read yet.
@@kirkfortin2103 Thank you!
I also don’t believe they banned her so they could profit off her season tickets. If that were the case, why is she the only one that lost her privileges?

I feel really bad for Vicky and I hope things get sorted out but it seems she annoyed the wrong people & didn’t realize it.
Stan Kroenke’s power wields it’s mighty sword. My goodness, what a joke. Beware what takes over your sports franchises, Denver.
What? No players looked uncomfortable. You were trying to see something that isn't there.

Her attorney's reaction says it all that he hasn't looked at the video. He is like well you're fucked. You did what they say you did. lol
It will be VERY interesting to see who gets the seats
Brandy, you are such a sweetheart!
Kroenke better have some actual proof that isn't just 'circumstantial' or 'open to interpretation.' Sounds more like they wanted an excuse to get rid of her and get her season seat to resell it for a higher value. Gutless bastards.
F*** the Nuggets
Stan kronke has been fleecing arsenal fans for years so something like this doesn’t surprise me one bit
The Curse of the Bambino vs Vicky Voodoo.
Yea. Fuck the Denver Nuggets. How dare they mistreat the elderly lady. The Nuggets really are a poverty franchise.
Nah, this woman did something that we are not fully aware of at the moment and it will come out. Can’t wait to hear the update.

Goes to show you that the Denver Nuggets are nothing but trash the way they did her wrong.
It is not the Nuggets that banned her it is the owner of the team.
What exactly did she do? If they have video footage of her violating the rules the Nuggets should release some footage.
I am sure the players find her annoying and feel obligated to hug her or greet her, they might have said something to the management who might have said something to her and she ignored them and continued on doing it
her lawyer has it that should tell you everything you need to know
I don’t blame the players or coaches. I blame upper management for doing this. They still haven’t willing to show to the public the photos and videos of proof of the alleged incident. I’m a nuggets fan but this is a huge black eye on this organization when she was the one fan that would be there for that team when they were horrible. Shame to again ownership on being greedy as hell. First the whole altitude tv contract 🐂 💩. Now this, no loyalty to fans that made you and your money. Kind of curious that they’re not doing well when this news came out. I love this team and coaches but this is going to affect this. Get Vicki back into Ball arena to see her Nuggets.
Good storytelling
I would move to another state and support another team if my favorite team bans me
OMG. Kicking Gandma out for hugging players!
Sure sounds like someone in management really just didn’t like her.

Banned in the USA
The team provided her lawyer the photos of why she was banned…but the lawyer stated he had not looked at the photos, really? Once the lawyer had the photos and if there was nothing there, I am sure he would provide the photos to the local media stations to make the Nuggets look 👀 bad. If the team warned her about her behavior and she didn’t change, the team has a right to ban her. Since the media is covering the story, I think the team should release the information on why it banned her since she took the story to the media.
What did she do?
Imma call it, until we see actual evidence of her supposed "inappropriate" behavior, someone decided to trump up some garbage on her to resell her seats.
Where are the players, coaches standing up for their fan. When they enter the court, bet she stands up for you and cheers!
Shame.
As a female, I’ve been “stiff arming” (a straight stiff arm preventing closer contact) men since I was very young.
There’s no reason if they don’t want contact, they can’t walk by with a stiff arm and keep going. 😊
Or even walk further towards the outside, aware as a female would be, in a touchy sitch.
I’m thinking some like it and some don’t. That’s normal.
I guess we have to protect them from the touchy lady, they are incapable of alternate actions and need someone else to take care of it for them.
