I have been playing genshin for 5 months now, at the 3 month mark I started to fully understand how the events and adventure ranks worked. I stared to souly focus on getting levels and upgrading my characters, I was no longer exploring the area and the game no longer seemed like a new open world to discover and a form of escaping from reality, it was more like a chore I had to complete every day. The one day in Liye I was doing a commission in the Wangshu Inn, it was sunset at the time, the pink fluffy clouds perfectly spread across the sky, the mountains in the distance towering above the ground and casting cool shadows that contrasted the glimmering golden waves off to the distance. For a moment and just a moment I stopped and forgot everything and just let myself drown in the beautifully crafted landscape around me. Seance then I have taken a break from bosses, commissions, levels, artifacts and all of the crazy features of the game to just run free and enjoy the world that many of us players have forgotten about. I suggest that you try to do the same and just remember how you felt as a new player.
Here is a poem I have written to remind myself (and any reader) that Genshin is a work of art, not just a task that needs to be completed

Yeah, I just realized this lately. Now I just play when I want to, and login daily just for commissions. It makes the game fun again

this game is so much fun doing exploration than missions.
I'll just launch a game and want to play a mission or commission. Will get distracted by hilichurl or some bright spot on the map. That's it. Will continue exploring and before i know it over 3hrs have passed.
I'll encourage everyone to explore the game more and not focus alot on completing missions.
@@greysenpai6749 totally agree. im a new player too, have been playing for close to a month(?) and AR35 atm. i will constantly get distracted by some hilichurls, seelies, or bright spots on the maps while en route to my quest as well XD so i went to complete dragonspine after monstadt before heading to liyue and the chasm, and it was only after i'd cleared up to 60% of dragonspine before i asked my friend for a hint on how to complete one of the missions, only to find out from him that the order of exploration is usually monstadt > liyue > dragonspine > inazuma > chasm hahahaha. it definitely was fun exploring the world by myself, and even for my friend, i would only let him into my world if he's really bored to help me clear some bosses, otherwise i still prefer to tackle the world with my own strength :)

I just started playing genshin 4 weeks ago and when I unlocked the co op mode I genuinely meet many high level players . But the most memorial experience was a Low Ar Me , with the Archon Squad going to Sumeru . We are literall
crackheads when playing and adventuring .
To summarize:
*Me being treated as a Baby
*Venti on creative mode
*Ei on a killing spree
*And Zhongli always falling off the cliff.
*All of us getting lost accept Nahida.
Then after all of that , we finally get to Sumeru in my world . May these players have the best life in this world 😭💝

At AR57, after doing my daily mission i usually "invade other player world" especially those who need help farming, or just playing and chat with them.
Before that i only play co-op for clearing domain or defeating weekly bosses, never realised it was so fun to invade other players to help them and flexing in good ways, and disappear like wind lmao.
Like that time when i invading someone who fighting oceanid, and beating the shit out of it, and disappear after that XD
That just happened to me a few days ago, a higher AR player entered my world and beat Oceanid and I was like “thank you”, then he disappeared.😂

i remember when i first started playing, a razor main came to my world and was absolutely demolishing all the mobs. they used barbara to heal and i saw her little ring around razor and i was so confused because I thought that it was cool. I assumed that it was a cosmetic that I could unlock and I was searching for it for a while😭😭

I remember someone joined my world and said: “Need any help?” And litterally helped me clear all the dragonspine quests and teleport waypoints. Then they disconnected and didn’t come back ToT
this is one of the things i love most about genshin. so far, most of my coop experiences have been extremely positive (although one time a person joined, told me a joke, and left LMAO but it was still pretty funny).
the people joining my world are always super willing to help me out with domains and bosses bc i’m still too anxious to do them myself. i always try to give back in any way possible, so i like to tell them that they’re free to take any resources they need :D

Today I felt a part of this tho especially that real talk part. I have been playing genshin almost ever since it came out (late September 2020) and recently got my girlfriend to download and play the game. My characters are level 80+ (I don't play 24/7 and took the past year off) and she just got to AR 16 today. We played together and I helped her get the teleport waypoints, oculi which took me ages to figure out how to get, and chests which I labored over earning. It was such a flow of nostalgia 😭 this video is beautiful
man this was actually fun to watch. it’s always nice to relax a little and take yourself back into the shoes of someone new, and just enjoy the game for what it is

I agree. I just recently played on Xiao's banner and there was SOOOOO MANY things to do that i dont have time to co-op. That was until i felt bored in this one puzzle and just allowed the players to come barging in my world. It was fun and now I'm already in my loading screen to play again :)))
i have some core memories in this game-
one of my best co-op experinces went something like this:
so i joined this random low level player named sage's world and we went around killing things, and everytime we would complete anything and there was a chest she would say "imma pin this on my map for later so that its fair and you dont feel left out!" and istg my heart melts just thinking abt it---
after a while, a venti main joined us... and then a xiao main joined us... and we all went to the big tree in monstadt where the one statue of the seven is, and we all climbed this tree and venti fell off of it and we did this whole funeral for him with hutao, zhongli and traveler--
after a while, the venti main had told us that it was like 2am where he lived, and he left. and eventually another xiao main joined us! we all took out our most "annoying" characters (i took out hu tao, sage took out xingqiu, and the first xiao main took out childe) and we all followed around xiao singing "they laugh attt meee becauusee im eeeeeeeeeeeemooooooooo~" and then me and sage took out yanfei and i took hu tao and we had a wedding! but xiao trashed it and was shooting us.
but then we all found out that all of us once was an amber main! so we all had (kind of) built ambers!! and we all played with amber for a while
we all just went around and killing things, goofing off, and having fun!
we co-oped for like 4 and a half ours, and every second of it was so much fun~
another one of my favorite co-op's was this!:
i was farming for keqing's artifacts, and i joined this one world and everyone was just making drawings is the grasss with amber and yoimiya, so i joined in too with my amber! together we made a funky portiat of xinyan~ we did the domain twice before we all decided to go do something else fun! and we where talking about how we all wanted ganyu and how we all were *definetaly not f2p* and eventually i had said "ive spent a lot of money on genshin.... but we dont talk about my *genshin cosplays*....." and it turned out we where both cosplayers! this whole co-op was a blur but at the end i exchanged numbers with them:)
ive been friends with sage ever since! (im still friends with everyone else, but i talk with sage almost daily)

I always find it funny that when I join a lower level player's world I get SO EXCITED when I see a seelie / chest / challenge / geoculus and they're like "Meh". Little do they do know how precious they become.
I'm low leveled, what does a seelie do and how do you catch them? Same with geoculus. I would do the challenges but I always run out of time.
@@shoelace2563 just follow seelies and you will get a chest, you can go to the geo statue and offer the geoculi for more stamina, primogems etc.

@@shoelace2563 Seelies are little fairies/spirits (they're glowy thingies, like will-o'-the-wisps) that you follow, when they settle they'll spawn a chest. Geoculus and Anemoculus are scattered around the map and are used to level up your Statues of the Seven, and increase the limit of your stamina bar and get some other rewards.
@@Nayelianne I didn't know statue of seven could increase stamina. Do I need to level up just one statue, or will the levels carry over to all the statues? Sorry for all the questions.

when he was talking about how it's better to join now its actually true because i joined first when the game like started but was really bored because of lack of events so i quit this january i decided to join again and as you most likely know lantern rite was starting so i was doing the mondstat and liyue quest and when i hit an ar block i could just play the lantern rite which made the beginning game a lot more fun and right now im currently on the last part of sumeru quest ( scara domain) and i got to procrastinate by playing with cats! also tuonto if you ever see this ( even though its an old video) im glad your doing better and your uploads have been a lot of fun to watch recently

Dude I wish I had coop experiences like this. The one time someone vibed with me instead of taking my mats was really weird, they just followed me around, killed things and then wanted to play hide and seek but it was like 3am so I spent the whole time just like "uhhhhhhh-"

But you see, he only had like 80 crit dmg so I had to get the number up, so I took away crit rate hat for crit dmg. And crit rate dropped to like 19 :kek:

Actually because I was spoiled a LOT of things about Venti, my first meeting with him I was so ecstatic to the point I chanted "VENTI VENTI BARBATOS" while my Sister was sleeping lol
I was able to join in like 1.3, but I didn't have another device to handle genshin, and the device I first played on was someone else's, so I felt physical pain when the version was now like 1.5

I love this, when i was low level and needed help leveling up my characters. I went to my singure and put need help with bosses, then turned co-op on. Someone who am still pals with joined, there name is Drawkill. Helped me with all the bosses and even some quests I was stuck on, and was okay with waiting on me figureing out what to do. They still help me even ever I ask, and even give me tips on how I should build my characters
Playing coop in genshin is like my favorite pastime now. I used to have a lot of anxiety thinking about joining a random world but after I started doing coop farming I realized that these people are so wholesome and nice and now I would casually find a lower level player to join coop with every day (if i have no other quest to do at least). It's really fun and i get to make a lot of new friends, plus they also sometimes hit me up if they need help so that's another win.

Same dude, I'm adventure rank 22 at the moment. Ive only been playing for a week but I'm pretty bad, usually people would help me but I still feel really embarrassed about it
My first experience in co-op was like
When there's someone enters my world, then they just take the things in my world like the Core Lapis and stuff without even telling me first, and being rude like saying "I'm gonna help you stupid, I'm just gonna take things"
And after that I never accept any random people in my world :(

I was in a players world recently and we came across a geoculus that I remembered being a PITA to get and I was like, "you shall not suffer as I did" and pulled out Zhongli and Venti so they could grab that sucker. Makes me wish I hadn't locked myself out of co op by accident when I started Trials in Tianqui quest by mistake and couldn't finish it for MONTHS at AR 25.

This makes me want to join some low level players when I have nothing to do in game just to hang out and help them. In the past I had anxiety and it was untreated, so I never did co-op out of that fear. Now that I'm better, I want to do more co-op and do for other players what could have been done for me in the past.

In the beginning, I was so afraid to go to dragonspine. Then someone joined my world, and they helped me so much exploring dragonspine and unlocking all teleporter points. They were patient and very friendly. So I do enjoy playing with others, and I'm also happy to help low at players out now that I'm more experienced

i just started playing genshin last january and i have to say, i have reached so far all thanks to the higher level players who helped me. i got so used to exploring with other people, even if the coop is random, so when i explore alone it's not as fun anymore. i'm not good at talking with new people but genshin helped me come over that bcs i literally have to thicken my face to ass for help with the bosses. lmao.

While I agree that it's great to visit old places and witness newbies experiencing the game as much as the co-op allows for, being a convert myself, I can confirm the stressful feeling of "gotta get to the point of being able to participate in this event that ends in a week".

ah, this is just like being a big veteran in the game sky: children of the light (yes, my pfp is a moth). i roam around forest or prairie after i do my dailies and candle runs, and seeing new players grow up is so heartwarming.
Y’ALL I was struggling so hard against the ruin guards/hunters in Chi of Yore, when a AR 57 Xiao/Ganyu appeared and soloed the whole thing for me. They even pulled out their Zhongli to help me reach the geoculus at the end.

Tbh from my experiences, joining lower level players is so wholesome. Everyone is so grateful and so kind! My genshin friend is way lower ar than me, and they are so amazing to play with. Lower ar players are so sweet 🥺☺️

@@Emkito its becomes a lot more brain dead if you have venti/sucrose, but even without venti theres a LOT of tricks that you can use to protect the monolith, other than memorising what each enemy targets (enviosity and the keebster have completely f2p guides on the whole of 11-2)

I remember being AR 15 and like two pretty high leveled players helped me just eliminate tough enemies and finish the Dragonspine world quests
I just started playing Genshin. I was actually pre-registered and played a few days on release but fell off after a lot of life stuff. I only just started playing again a few days ago after getting a better pc and other things, and I'm lucky enough to have a lvl 90 friend who helps me quite a bit when it comes to grinding. I'm really thankful for her help and can't wait to see the story unfold, and once I'm caught up to her I'll hopefully get to repay her for her help by becoming an awesome teammate myself!
