I saw this blender at Bed, Bath and Beyond and was contemplating it, then I googled and watched your videos, which are awesome! Keep it up! You’re fun to watch and very informative!
Love This! I had the same problem getting the lid off the first time. I need to make Beef Gravy, TOMMOROW, and don’t haVe drippings. What would you do to make it the blender? Do you think the sauté function would make something resembling a roux?
I am glad that I subbed yesterday, or I would not have known of this blender ! I have the Instant Pot Ace Plus hot/cold blender but I think I like this one better. Is it possible to make soup that isn't blended in this product ? Thank you very much !!
Hi Louise. I just stumbled across this wonderful creation of yours. I don't normally cook a turkey or chicken in the oven to gather the broth. Can I make a chicken gravy using cooking chicken broth or stock that I buy at the grocery store?
Love your show! I like how you seem like a "real" down to earth cook :) Anyways, going to try this on this Thanksgiving. Going to make one small modification...going to cook my insides of the turkey with the gravy and mix in so there are some little chunks of turkey in the gravy. What do you think?
It depends on where you get it. It's in my Amazon store for around $130, but Amazon changes their prices all the time. Kohl's has had some great deals on it with coupons and I got mine for $83.00
I know this seems like a simple recipe, but do you have it printed anywhere? I searched, but didn't find it. I'm one that has to have a printed version, and I'd like to try making this in my new Hot/Cold Blender. I've tried following videos, but I just can't do it. Too hard to keep up. lol
I haven't written it up yet, but it will be on my website later today or by tomorrow. I'm running behind. Sorry! Here is my website and if you want to join my mailing list, you'll get my new recipes in written format in your inbox. thesaltedpepper.com
@@TheSaltedPepper yeah, I've joined the mailing list a long while back. I love getting email notifications when you post a video. I think I watch every video you post. They're great, very informative. I think yours are the best. And I do see that you have the gravy posted now. Thank you!
I just received my hot cold blender yesterday 12/5/19, I’ve searched the Internet for great IceCream and smoothie recipes with this beautiful blender, but no luck 😐, any chance you can make a video for such recipes? Thank you In Advance
Lou as it's also a blender, you can use frozen fruit of your choice and add your favourite milk or cream. It only takes about 30 seconds to blend. & it's yummy and creamy like soft ice cream. No need to freeze it that way, although you perhaps could if you wanted to.
OMFG! You are the hero of sophomores across the globe. Make that lid to the ten inch Foodi diameter and you can ship me one to Maryland. Redesign the bottom to clip a Ryobi lithium battery into it and you will be richer than Jack Ma.
Whenever I see this blender I think Hollandaise sauce. I’ve never made that, but this device is screaming for a Hollandaise button. Gravy is a perfect choice for this. Since it’s a blender, do you think you could have chopped up some giblets into the gravy? Since the video is so short, I think you should have included the cleanup. When people see that part, they can start thinking what else they can do immediately next. Maybe cranberry sauce or tapioca. I can picture universities including one of these with an IMac as part of tuition. IMac and cheese. 😂😂😂😂😂
You are so funny! Believe it or not, I just got a comment that this video is too long! LOL The clean up is my favorite part, I wish I would have thought of that. I will most definitely be doing a Hollandaise sauce in the blender, you are right... it is begging for that recipe. I just did a cranberry butter and that will be out soon. I'm also going to do a chunky cranberry sauce. I alway use giblets to make my stock from which I make gravy, but there aren't any in a turkey breast, so the ones I have from the previous turkeys I tested are frozen.
Wow who would have thought you could make a 9-minute video just on gravy. That's what you gravying/(milking) the TH-cam watch time. Your last video was 30 minute, good God, I guess I don't blame you but... damn. I'm not going to slam this channel because I think you have a lot of potential and just need to make some tweaks. It's really hard to watch 10 minutes much less 30 minutes of any channel. You need to respect your audience's time. I would be very interested in seeing your analytics and knowing where your audience drops off at.
My analytics show that I am giving people what they want. This channel is a teaching channel, not an entertainment one. My subscribers like the step-by-step videos, but I realize they aren't for everyone and that is the beauty of TH-cam and its vast amount of channel choices. I assure you, I am not "milking" anything and watch time is not important to me, providing value is. I'm a food blogger who also does video as a way to demonstrate step-by-step how to make something. My videos are as long as they need to be based on the recipe. I have the utmost respect for my audience and based on the numerous positive comments and emails I get on a daily basis, they appreciate the value I provide. All My Best, Louise ~ The Salted Pepper

Thank you so much!
Had no idea. So grateful to have found this video.
In Uk we have gravy granules which make the gravy brown and it tastes delicious, you should try it or try stock cubes it’s lovely.
Wow! That is a really cool blender!
I love it!
That looked super delicious Lou Lou
Thank you!
Wow looks great. I bought my Ninja Foodi a few days ago. Now I am seriously considering the Ninja blender. There seems to be a few options.
Congrats on the new Ninja!
Your videos are superior to other peoples I see your face I hear you talk great videos love to watch them
Thank you so much!
Gravy looks great and i can make delicious gravy, thanks Mom. I think i need this blender.
I wish I could make great gravy consistently, but it is a skill I lack. Now, with this blender, I'm on it!
Nice job. Gotta love a bit of gravy. Aussie Bob
Thank you!
Thanks for the video!
You are most welcome!
Great video and thank you for sharing😊
Thank you!

I need to make Beef Gravy, TOMMOROW, and don’t haVe drippings. What would you do to make it the blender? Do you think the sauté function would make something resembling a roux?
I would use butter and seasonings with a little flour. I think you could probably do a roux in the blender.
I am glad that I subbed yesterday, or I would not have known of this blender !
I have the Instant Pot Ace Plus hot/cold blender but I think I like this one better.
Is it possible to make soup that isn't blended in this product ?
Thank you very much !!
Yes, there is a hearty soup feature
@@amygale84 Thank you !
Truth Hurtz yes, I have a video for tortilla soup in this blender and it’s a chunky soup.
@@TheSaltedPepper I'm going to look that up!!
Ps. I ordered that blender at 4:00 this morning, will be here Wednesday !!!
Hi Louise. I just stumbled across this wonderful creation of yours. I don't normally cook a turkey or chicken in the oven to gather the broth. Can I make a chicken gravy using cooking chicken broth or stock that I buy at the grocery store?
Yes, but you would need additional fat to bind with the flour.
Looks great. I'm going to work on a keto version with xanthan gum.
I am sure that will work fine!

Thank you! Yep, that sounds good!
Now I need a ninja blender too. I love my ninja foodi air fryer/pressure cooker. How much is the blender, if you don’t mind me asking?
It depends on where you get it. It's in my Amazon store for around $130, but Amazon changes their prices all the time. Kohl's has had some great deals on it with coupons and I got mine for $83.00
The Salted Pepper oh wow!! Thank you so much.
Blimey here in Scotland UK it's £199 . It's dead cheap across the pond then .
Did anyone else smell delicious turkey as she did this? :-)

I will! I only made ice cream once and I'm trying to figure out how to do it a little faster.
Lou as it's also a blender, you can use frozen fruit of your choice and add your favourite milk or cream. It only takes about 30 seconds to blend. & it's yummy and creamy like soft ice cream. No need to freeze it that way, although you perhaps could if you wanted to.
Only add 500ml of milk ie soy coconut or whatever milk you want to use.
your so good i love ya could you possibly do some keto things :)
I have some recipes that are keto friendly. Look at the 360 meals because you can omit the starch from any of them.
Could you make this in a normal soup maker?
I'm not sure what a normal soup maker is. Sorry. If you want to explain what appliance you have, I can try to help.
