hi, is this test showing a fairly weak spark, or is this considered normal spark for smaller vehicles, just bought an atv that dosnt start, i get spark, but im used to working on cars, and i find the spark very small/weak. thx and great video cheers from norway

hello so i was wondering if you would be able to help me i am working on my first bike myself and i got most of it working but still no sparks after changing the ciol and the spark plug and the cdi all wiring i also okay so would you be able to give me a few pointers on where i could look ?

Is a coil for a CDI interchangeable with a coil for points?
I would guess so. As long as it falls with the same range.
What does it mean when it only sparks when the negative touches the battery and nothing from the plug
I don’t know… maybe the coil is bad? I feel like this is a trick question 🤣😂🤣

That's what I have too. I'm thinking a bad coil. The resistance from both the primary and secondary coils is both fine though. It's weird
