I bought the Snipewriter 5H, but haven't used it yet, thought it looked like a good newbie weapon because of the 5 shots and decent range. My taste in weapons is either really good or really bad if you look at what's considered the meta. I just pick out and play what I think I'll like (after testing in the training room), that's how I got to like other weapons beside the Vanilla Splash (which wasn't a meta yet at the time, an ex-friend recommended it to me when I asked for a good painting weapon).
The problem with the Snipewriter is the fact that you have to hit twice after a super long charge up to get a kill (which is the main role of chargers). Also, low object damage and a terrible kit mean that it's basically useless... If you want to apply mid-range pressure with multiple shots, I'd recommend the bamboozler with its super fast charge and decent range. Sure, the snipewriter has more range (splatterscope range, in fact), but the fact that you're basically stuck in place while you're holding your 5 shots is a huge downside.
@@Kylemsguy I just looked at my app and I bought both Zekkofin snipers, the Vanilla Squiffer and the Snipewriter. I picked out those after trying them all out (didn’t try out Snipewriter though, so I didn’t know it needed to hit twice). Bamboozler has a kit I’m terrible with.
if you wanna see a Snipewriter win a 333x battle, i just did that last Splatfest! also, i happen to main this thing like for real, so you can see a lot more gameplay from me if you are interested. and im gonna do a "15-star" review of the weapon too (not sure when exactly though)
Great video! It’s so good to see more Aussies getting into splatoon content creation. Great background music, good commentary and you’re a pretty damn good player too. That’s a sub from me. Edit: I saw a rapid pro recently in one of my matches because it was me 😉
Interesting, I feel like the weapon I see the least is like Splat Brella. Tent appears every now and then and especially Undercover. I see Rapid Blaster Pro quite a lot, I'm shocked its here.
Rapid pro is definitely one of the least used. Splat brella is so fun, it's so tragic that it's so bad, but to be fair it's better than undercover and at least has a real special unlike tent
Undercover brella is used the most out of any of the brellas because it's the easiest brella to play, you don't need to learn how to flare shield, you don't need to full direct every time to do well because of its fire rate, and it can be played supportively, so it really is the best introduction to the brella class. Same reason why everyone plays clash when they first try blasters (although obviously undercover isn't as braindead considering you still need to be able to aim to function). I've gotten 4 stars in all brellas and I'd say splat brella is probably the worst brella for solo queue, because it's playstyle is entirely dependent on flaring shield (which is the part of brellas that splatoon's netcode completely breaks) and working with your teammates to set up easy kills(which doesn't work in solo queue). Unlike with tenta brella or undercover your playstyle relies a lot on getting full directs every time you reset shield, or else the enemy gets free damage on you for no reward on your part, which will often end in your shield breaking and you dying (yes, not getting a full direct with splat brella actually does just mean you die). All that's not to mention it has by far the worst kit out of any of them. Even with undercover's terrible kit design it can still kind of fulfill its intended role as support, reefslider is great for zones and can also instapop rainmaker shield and other hp specials, making it worthwhile utility to paint for, even if undercover would still rather have any other special. Splat brella's kit on the other hand forces it into a support role that it absolutely does not want, with a sub that does nothing but paint for special, and a special that forces it into safe positioning away from the fight since it can't swim while tristrike is active. These are the reasons why tenta brella is the best brella. While ink vac is definitely the weakest special out of the three, it synergizes very well with the tenta brella "tent launch to get in, special to stay in" playstyle, and so it can get value out of ink vac more than any other weapon in the game (although admittedly tent would still rather have any other close range special). Its sub weapon, beakon, has always been amazing on tent, and the best sub weapon out of the three brellas. Not only that, but it almost never flares shield, and has the potential to oneshot, making the main weapon significantly safer than splat brella while still being able to get in unlike undercover. The only real issues with the main weapon are that the tenta brella playstyle is very unintuitive to what people assume a shield weapon should do (it's main role is not to support teammates, but rather push up into the enemy base. Supportive playstyles can be useful, but should only be used to get your team back on stable ground so you have an opportunity to push into the enemy base again.) and the damage is extremely unreliable, albeit a lot better than splat brella since you have the launched shield as a safety net. I am very looking forward to sorenta, can't wait to have a tenta brella with a well designed special! Also I must say you're pretty good at hitting the full directs with tent, I think you could do well with it if you learned proper positioning and playstyle.
Before rapid deco came out, I was still using rapid pro, because I love rapid blasters in general and I preferred pro's kit over vanilla rapid (I'm very bad with ink mines + tri strike was awful when the game first released). I was good with it, but it's very hard to play a weapon solely focused around support in solo queue. If you get bad and/or passive teammates, it's extremely difficult to push. And as the meta shifted, rapid pro became harder and harder to use because it was such a poor match up against what other people were using. I only play rapid deco now, and was excited for rapid pro deco, but the kit is... only slightly better than the vanilla kit. Now I'm really hoping every weapon gets third kits in this game.
Okay, ive always played the lesser known things in games more than the better stuff because i like not being in a duo cue or havingvthe same weapon on the other team, usually the second i get one of those i just switch weapons, but anyway, v 96 gal is REALLY fun. I love the kit so much and i have no idea why. I tried the deco, and i just cant play it, its not fun like at all for me. Also range blaster pro is the most fun thing of all time and you can fight me for that lol.
Does it count if im the one using rapid pro? If not, I havent seen a rapid pro in a long long time... And I like tenta brella (I even have it 4 star!) And both of these are getting second kits in sizzle season :D

Even if it is rarely used, a very good Snipewriter player can kill me in a blink of an eye

10:42 Dumb question but how’d you super jump without pulling up the map? I’m guess the d-pad?
If you slow down the clip, he opens up the map. Just quickly input X down and A :))
Oh okay thanks

Rapid blaster pro is my MAIN weapon :D
...
Needless to say I'm REALLY hoping the deco gets a good kit.
I feel like that 96 gal only work if you are playing splatzone when it comes to rank
Tower
It doesnt work in any mode, there's never a reason not to choose deco
Before rapid deco came out, I was still using rapid pro, because I love rapid blasters in general and I preferred pro's kit over vanilla rapid (I'm very bad with ink mines + tri strike was awful when the game first released).

Bro got a kill with the snipewriter and broke the laws of physics.
This is what happens when you get your opinions from a competitive tier list and apply it to ranked🎉
I saw a rapid blaster pro a few weeks ago. I was getting several weapons up to level 1 and used just long enough.
Ultra stamp has had some buffs and big fixes and is now pretty alright as a special. Not the best, but in no way the worst anymore.
I must get rare lobbies because I see most of those weapons pretty often 😕
Actually, I used the Snipewriter yesterday.
i played rapid pro a while ago because i thought: lets play something no one really uses. same thing what im doing now with the light tetra dualies
Congrats man you got cherry H3 back !
i've last seen a rapid blaster pro today actually,
but thats also probably because i was the one using it... (i switched to custom jet right after)
Does the L-3 nozzlenose counts??

why do you like ink vac (not hating I enjoy it every now and then too)
I have all of these 4 star at least. Snipe writer is definitely the most difficult to win with since you don't have a very impactful sub or special.
I really tried to use the H-3 recently but that kit is horrible
Ultra got major bug fixes and now its insanely good
what's the song in the beginning? Its name and procedence have slipped from my brain, so frustrating :'D
its world bowser from 3d world
@@_EthanStone Ooh yeah, thanks!
i never seen someone use a rapid blaster pro
This is the first time I saw a rapid blaster pro.
Does it count if im the one using rapid pro? If not, I havent seen a rapid pro in a long long time...
And I like tenta brella (I even have it 4 star!) And both of these are getting second kits in sizzle season :D
ive been playing rapid pro recently in anticipation for the deco kit
good kit please 🙏
love rapid blaster pro cant wait for the new kit
The least worst weapon 96 gal and
the worst weapon snipewriter 5H in splatoon 3 be like
Where did you get that statistic in the thumbnail?
made it up
All 4 of these weapons are my mains
I'm a snipewriter main with 200+ wins 😭
I also met other 5 Star snipewriter Mains!
I have 5 start in the weapon, I just waiting for new kit and they fix the DMG against crab tank
Bro got a kill with the snipewriter and broke the laws of physics.
